朱棣植槐
明永乐十八年（1420年）朱棣迁都北京，随后便提出在坛庙、道路、长城等处广植树木。

The national compulsory tree-planting campaign has given a strong impetus to the improvement of China's ecological situation. In 1981, prior to the launch of the campaign, China had a forest area of 1.729 billion mu, a standing wood stock of 10.26 billion cubic meters, and a forest coverage rate of 12 per cent.
