My husband built a small two-floor house for our Little Free Library. It looked exactly like our
own house. Both of us love reading, so instead of taking boxes of books to a used book sale, we now
place them in this little library near the street to share them with others.
Over the past 15 years, thousands of books have been shared through our little library.
Sometimes, people also leave DVDs and CDs. Our library is on a busy street near a subway station, so

Xie Hongxing, 40, has recently become popular online for creating a tiny model of the Tiangong
space station using bamboo. It took him 46 days to complete the space station, using many kinds of
local bamboo to show its beauty.
Born and raised near Wuyi Mountain, Xie is an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage (非遗
传承人 ). He has been practicing this bamboo weaving (竹编 ) art for 22 years. On Douyin, Xie
amazed viewers by skillfully cutting bamboo into thin pieces with just a knife. During the creation,

In the wild, wolves with injured (受伤的) legs often die very soon. But one injured wolf in the

Feeding dolphins can lead to accidents, such as injuries from boats or fishing tools. Young dolphins
may learn this action from their mothers, leading to more accidents.
Feeding animals can also make them depend on humans for food, said Dai Qiang, a researcher in
Chengdu. It may also spread diseases to people. Qi Xinzhang, from Xining Wildlife Park, said
kindness should be guided by reason to avoid bad results. So, what should we do when we see wild

Scientists believe that self-driving cars might make this problem even worse in the future.
Feeling sick while moving happens when your brain gets mixed messages. For example, when

Last week, our school carried out a survey to learn about students' after-school activities. The purpose was
to understand how students relax and stay healthy outside of class.

I started loving music long before I came to school. My parents always say that whenever music was
playing, I’d dance in the living room! So, as soon as I entered primary school, my parents got me to take
violin lessons. When I reached middle school, I met a truly great music teacher. She showed me the guitar.
I found it was a lot easier to play. I knew right away that the guitar was the perfect instrument for me.
Later, a classmate advised me to join her violin club. My best friend was already in it, so I was glad to pick
up the violin again. I went to the club twice a week. As time went by, I decided to continue my studies in
music at university.
