My Unforgettable After-school Outing

At noon, we had a picnic in a small clearing. We shared our food—Li Na brought sandwiches, and I brought fruit salad. After lunch, we played a game of “hide-and-seek” among the trees. Everyone laughed a lot.
In the afternoon, we picked some wild flowers (but we didn’t hurt the plants!) and took many photos. We went back to school at 4:00 p.m. I felt tired but very happy.

A Fun After-school Activity
Last week, I took part in a charity sale at our school. It was held on the playground last Wednesday afternoon.
Before the sale, my classmates and I prepared many things. I brought 10 handmade postcards—I drew pictures of our school on them. During the sale, I decorated our table with colourful posters to attract students. Many classmates bought my postcards, and we raised a lot of money for poor children.
I felt very proud because I could help others. This activity was not only fun but also meaningful. I hope we can have more such activities!
