June 5th is the World Environment Day. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is calling for works on current development of green living in today’s China.
Work in groups, choose one area and conduct a survey to find out people’s attitudes and actions of green living in Beijing. Then report your survey findings to spread the voice of China.

Analyse your data and findings from both positive and negative aspects. Identify good practices and potential problems.
Brainstorm suggestions to the problems.
III. Writing
Work in groups:
Write your survey report together in Tencent Docs. Remember to include graphs.
Read your complete survey report as a group, and edit if possible. Use the checklist on the handout to help you.
IV. Peer Editing
Work in groups:
Read the other group’s work, and complete the two evaluation forms on your handout.
Highlight good use of language (e.g. quantity expressions, language to cite data, language to give suggestions, linking words…).
Make corrections if possible.
