Protecting the environment plays an important role in our lives.It can
improve people’s health，provide a nice living place，as well as keep the
sustainable development of society.
Last weekend，I took part in an activity of environmental protection—
“Turn Waste into Wealth”.At first，I collected different kinds of waste，
such as used paper，old pens and plastic bottles.After getting some creative
ideas，I threw myself into handwork.I carefully cut the plastic bottles into
different shapes，and painted them in bright colors.Finally，a special vase
was created.I felt very happy because I gave the waste a new life.The
moment when my classmates praised my work made me have a strong feeling
of satisfaction.
This experience has improved my awareness of environmental
