I see twelve famous great people, such as Confucius, Yuan Longping, Tu Youyou, Marie Curie and Florence Nightingale.
Yes, I know many of them.For example, Yuan Longping invented hybrid rice to feed more people. Tu Youyou found artemisinin to save malaria patients. Marie Curie won two Nobel Prizes for science.
They all worked hard and made great contributions to the world. Their spirits inspire us a lot.

Sima Qian was a Western Han historian (历史学家). He traveled widely (四处各地) to collect historical records (史料). Despite (尽管) great suffering (磨难), he never gave up. He wrote Shiji, China’s first full general history (通史).
His perseverance (毅力) encourages us to stick to (坚守) our dreams. His perseverance（毅力）inspires us to keep chasing our dreams through difficulties.

Yuan Longping is a great agricultural scientist（农业科学家）in China.
