Possible answer: They all talk about the importance of history. All the quotes tell us that history is useful and we can learn a lot from it.
这句话是唐太宗李世民所说，出自《旧唐书·魏徵传》，原句为：
太宗谓梁公曰："以铜为镜，可以正衣冠；以史为镜，可以知兴替；以人为镜，可以明得失。朕尝宝此三镜，用防己过。今魏徵殂逝，遂亡一镜矣。"
【白话译文】
太宗对梁公说：“用铜当作镜子，可以使衣帽穿戴得端正；用历史当作镜子，可以知道国家兴亡的原因；用人当作镜子，可以发现自己的对错。我把这三种镜子当作宝贝，用来防止自己犯错。现在魏徵去世了，我就少了一面好镜子啊。”

马丁·路德·金（Martin Luther King Jr，1929年1月15日—1968年4月4日），出生于佐治亚州亚特兰大，毕业于波士顿大学神学院。美国牧师、社会活动家、美国黑人民权运动领袖。

弗朗西斯·培根（Francis Bacon，1561年1月22日—1626年4月9日），英国文艺复兴时期散文家、哲学家。主要著作有《新工具》、《论科学的增进》以及《学术的伟大复兴》等。
这句话出自培根的经典散文《Of Studies（论读书 / 谈读书）》，收录于《培根随笔》（Essays）中，意思是：通过阅读历史，人们可以了解历史的真实，读懂历史发展的规律，从而理性地参与历史，做出明智的判断。
