应用文写作possible version:
Dear Simon,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve lost the book Collections of Chinese Poems I sent you last month.
I quite understand how upset you’re feeling because you told me the book was useful for your Chinese learning. I think you should ask around to see if anyone has taken it and forgotten to return it to you. Besides, have you considered that you may have forgotten where you’ve put it? It is normal for us to sometimes forget where we have put something. If you still can’t find it, I’d like to buy you a new one. It’s easier to buy such books in China.
Don’t be too upset as you’ll either find it or get a new one soon. Wish you more progress in your Chinese learning.
Yours,
Li Hua

If these papers can't be marked, everyone in the college will suffer. Now if you can help, or if you have seen or heard anything that...
