My son’s travel study in the USA
Last summer, my husband and I gave my son, Eric a chance to go to the USA for a three weeks’ travel study in order that he could experience a new culture and learn more about the outside world. For two weeks, they visited some big cities in the East and West Coastlines. Standing in front of the White House, he was so excited that he imagined himself working in that house like Obama. The Statue of Liberty was such a great spot that nobody would like to miss it when they were in New York. They also visited some famous universities like Harvard University. In the West Coast, they finally saw the great Golden Gate Bridge with their own eyes. However, of all his visits, he thinks the most adventurous visit was the one to the Niagara Falls. They saw such great falls and heard such a great noise that they thought they were in a storm!
Besides sightseeing, he lived with a host family and attended English classes in Lock Haven for one week. In those classes, he found that American students were so active that they would not let go a chance to give their own opinions.
Although the trip was short and expensive, it was valuable for him.
