Today I’d like to write about cultural differences. My topic is “ understanding cultural differences”.
B. When living abroad, traveling in a foreign country or just learning a foreign language, we may come across a large number of cultural differences existing in all aspects of social life. With cultural awareness of those differences, life will be easier and misunderstandings will be avoided.
C. Recently, on a web site, I saw an article whose author said，“Don’t stick your chopsticks into your rice and leave them standing there—otherwise my wife will kill you”. I was puzzled at the beginning, and then understood that the Chinese regard this sort of behavior as unlucky.
