B
I
opened
the
big
steel
door
to
the
school's
front
office.
My
hands
were
a
bit
sweaty,
my
heart
was
pounding
in
my
chest,
and
my
throat
and
tongue
felt
tense
and
dry.
It
was
the
first
day
of
school.
No,
not
for
me
as
a
student,
but
rather,
for
me
as
a
first
time
reading
tutor(助教)volunteering
with
the
Experience
Corps
program.
I'm
so
proud
to
be
part
of
such
a
worthwhile
educational
organization.
The
Experience
Corps
developed
a
research-based,
statistically
proven
reading
improvement
program
which
consists
of
fun
reading
games.
In
the
games,
I'd
play
with
each
child
and
they
didn't
even
realize
that
they
were
actually
learning
and
improving
their
reading—we
were
having
too
much
fun!
"Ms.
R,"(as
they
called
me),
"I
read
my
book
to
my
dog,
Sunny,
and
she
really
liked
it,
too."
Great!
That's
the
idea—keep
on
reading
to
others
at
home
to
increase
accuracy
and
fluency.
"Ms.
R,
my
mom
has
a
baby
in
her
belly.
I'm
going
to
be
a
big
sister
and
will
read
to
him
when
he
comes
out."
That
one
made
me
feel
all
warm
and
sweet,
and
I
told
the
student
that
she
would
be
the
best
big
sister
ever.
"Ms.
R,
why
do
you
have
gray
hair "
I
love
the
frankness
of
kids.
I
just
laughed
and
told
them
it
was
better
to
have
gray
hair
than
no
hair!
We
all
giggled(傻笑)at
that.
The
students
were
tested
throughout
the
year,
and
results
showed
that
they
were
making
progress
in
their
reading.
I
hope
I
played
at
least
a
small
part
in
their
academic
success.
When
I
first
volunteered
to
tutor,
I
was
a
bit
anxious.
I
had
no
teaching
experience,
but
I
found
out
that
you
don't
need
any.
All
you
need
is
the
willingness
to
give
of
yourself
and
a
desire
to
work
one-on-one
with
these
children
who
so
desperately
want
to
please
you.
4.

of

in
the
school

Helping
improve

reading
program.

Teaching
students
knowledge
of
all
the
subjects.
C.
Playing
various
outdoor
games
with
the
students.
D.
Offering
reading
guidance
under
the
program.
6.

and

7.

is
the

being
a
good
reading
tutor

Knowledge.
D.

C
One
of
the
greatest
challenges
in
caring
for
such
intelligent
animals
as
chimpanzees
(猩猩)
is
providing
them
with
enriching
experiences.
Every
day,
the
chimpanzees
at
Project
Chimps
receive
morning
and
evening
food-based
enrichment
devices,
but
caregivers
are
always
looking
for
more
ways
to
keep
the
chimps
mentally
engaged.
With
79
chimpanzees,
each
with
their
distinctive
personality,
care
staff
often
find
that
different
chimps
react
differently
to
new
enrichment.
Last
year,
we
began
inviting
musicians
to
perform
for
chimps
to
see
what
they
may
respond.
A
violin
performance
received
quite
the
response.
Additional
musicians
were
lined
up
to
visit
but
the
coronavirus
has
stopped
the
activities,
which
we
hope
to
resume
in
the
near
future.
This
past
week,
we
brought
an
electric
piano
for
the
chimps
to
investigate.
Some
chimps,
like
twins
Buttercup
and
Clarisse,
were
immediately
interested
and
could
not
wait
to
tap
out
a
few
notes.
Others,
like
Emma,
were
more
interested
in
trying
to
take
it
apart.
29-year-old
Precious
has
very
little
tolerance
for
the
piano.
She
sat
off
to
the
side
for
a
few
minutes,
but
eventually
she
decided
that
was
enough.
She
called
an
end
to
the
enrichment
session
by
throwing
a
handful
of
waste
at
the
piano.
Receiving
her
message
loud
and
clear,
we
removed
the
piano.
We
could
never
have
guessed
how
33-year-old
Luke
would
react
to
it.
As
with
many
retired
lab
chimpanzees,
Luke
has
some
anxiety
issues.
He
seems
particularly
distrustful
of
anything
new,
including
people,
food,
and
enrichment.
But
when
we
presented
the
chimps
with
the
piano,
Luke
was
the
first
to
investigate.
We
could
not
believe
our
eyes—this
usually
anxious
chimpanzee
bravely
chose
to
explore
something
new!
To
us
at
Project
Chimps,
this
is
what
it
is
all
about:
giving
chimpanzees
the
freedom
to
choose.
We
are
honored
to
be
part
of
their
journey.
8.
Why
do
chimpanzees
respond
differently
to
new
enrichment
A.
They
are
of
different
genders.
B.
They
have
natural
curiosities.
C.
They
are
as
intelligent
as
humans.
D.
They
have
their
unique
characters.
9.
Who
showed
the
least
interest
in
the
piano
A.
Buttercup
and
Clarisse.
B.
Emma.
C.
Precious.
D.
Luke.
10.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“resume”
in
Paragraph
2
mean
A.
Continue.
B.
Suspend.
C.
Monitor.
D.
Regulate.
11.
What
is
the
text
mainly
about
A.
How
caregivers
care
for
the
retired
chimpanzees.
B.
What
care
staff
do
to
enrich
chimpanzees’
daily
life.
C.
How
chimpanzees
are
trained
through
various
enrichment.
D.
What
Project
Chimps
does
to
observe
and
study
wild
chimps.
D
British
sculptor
Jason
Taylor
has
made
it
his
mission
to
use
his
talent
to
conserve
our
ecosystems
by
creating
underwater
museums.
Over
the
years,
the
environmentalist
has
put
over
850
massive
artworks
underwater
worldwide.
On
February
1,
2021,
Taylor
launched
his
latest
work---The
Underwater
Museum
of
Cannes.
“The
main
goal
was
to
bring
attention
to
the
fact
that
our
oceans
need
our
help,”
Taylor
told
Dezeen.
“Ocean
ecologies
have
been
destroyed
by
human
activity
in
the
Mediterranean
over
the
past
few
decades,
and
it
is
not
obvious
what
is
taking
place
when
observing
the
sea
from
afar.”
The
Underwater
Museum
of
Cannes
contains
6
sculptures
featuring
local
residents
of
various
ages.
They
range
from
Maurice,
an
80-year-old
fisherman,
to
Anouk,
a
9-year-old
student.
Towering
over
6-feet-tall
and
weighing
10
tons,
the
faces
are
sectioned
into
two
parts,
with
the
outer
part
like
a
mask.
The
mask
indicates
that
the
world’s
oceans
appear
powerful
and
unbeatable
from
the
surface
but
house
an
ecosystem
that
is
extremely
fragile
to
careless
human
activities.
Though
the
waters
surrounding
the
sculptures
now
appear
a
pristine
blue,
the
seabed
was
filled
with
old
boat
engines,
pipes,
and
other
human-made
trash
when
the
project
began
about
four
years
ago.
Besides
removing
the
trash,
Taylor
also
restored
the
area’s
seagrass.
Just
one
square
meter
of
the
seagrass
can
generate
up
to
10
liters
of
oxygen
daily.
The
seagrass
also
helps
prevent
coastal
erosion
and
provides
habitats
for
many
ocean
creatures.
“The
idea
of
creating
an
underwater
museum
was
to
draw
more
people
underwater
and
develop
a
sense
of
care
and
protection,”
Taylor
told
Dezeen.
“If
we
threw
unwanted
waste
near
a
forest,
there
would
be
a
public
outcry.
But
this
is
happening
every
day
in
our
surrounding
waters
and
it
largely
goes
unnoticed.”
12.
What
are
the
underwater
museums
intended
to
do
A.
To
make
huge
profits.
B.
To
raise
awareness
of
protecting
the
ocean.
C.
To
show
Jason
Taylor’s
talent.
D.
To
draw
attention
to
endangered
sea
animals.
13.
Why
does
the
outer
part
of
the
sculptures
look
like
a
mask
A.
To
popularize
the
features
of
the
locals.
B.
To
remind
people
to
protect
themselves.
C.
To
reflect
people’s
protection
of
the
ocean.
D.
To
stress
the
sensitiveness
of
the
ecosystem.
14.
What’s
Paragraph
4
mainly
about
A.
How
the
project
was
started.
B.
How
the
seagrass
was
restored.
C.
What
recovery
effort
the
project
made.
D.
Why
the
surroundings
were
improved.
15.
What
can
we
infer
from
what
Jason
Taylor
said
in
the
last
paragraph
A.
The
situation
of
the
ocean
is
easily
ignored.
B.
The
destruction
caused
to
the
ocean
is
noticeable.
C.
Forests
play
a
more
important
role
in
ecosystems.

most
fulfilled
and
joyful
lives
are
those
who
are
flexible
and
open-minded
to
change
and
new
opportunities.____19____It
is
that
fluid(流动的)nature
of
life
that
brings
uncertainty
and
adventure
into
the
picture.
Therefore,
the
plans
you
make
today
may
no
longer
be
relevant
tomorrow.
____20____We
live
in
a
society
where
“busy”
is
celebrated.
The
problem
is
that
when
busy
becomes
your
way
of
living,
the
things
you
care
most
about
have
a
way
of
getting
buried
under
others.
That’s
why
the
art
of
learning
to
say
“no”
more
often
is
necessary
if
you
want
to
start
designing
your
life.
One
truth
about
life
is
that
you
can’t
do
two
things
at
once—at
least
not
effectively.
A.
Say“no”more
often.
B.
Then
you
need
to
create
your
“life
by
design”.
C.
There
exists
a
culture
where
“no”
has
a
negative
suggestion.
D.
To
achieve
this,
you
have
to
make
it
clear
what
you
exactly
want.
E.
Many
aspects
of
your
life
are
constantly
developing
and
changing.
F.
Be
like
the
architect
and
take
the
time
to
create
the
plan
before
you
start.
G.
Instead,
they
did
the
dull
work
of
mapping
out
every
single
detail
of
that
structure.

B
I
opened
the
big
steel
door
to
the
school's
front
office.
My
hands
were
a
bit
sweaty,
my
heart
was
pounding
in
my
chest,
and
my
throat
and
tongue
felt
tense
and
dry.
It
was
the
first
day
of
school.
No,
not
for
me
as
a
student,
but
rather,
for
me
as
a
first
time
reading
tutor(助教)volunteering
with
the
Experience
Corps
program.
I'm
so
proud
to
be
part
of
such
a
worthwhile
educational
organization.
The
Experience
Corps
developed
a
research-based,
statistically
proven
reading
improvement
program
which
consists
of
fun
reading
games.
In
the
games,
I'd
play
with
each
child
and
they
didn't
even
realize
that
they
were
actually
learning
and
improving
their
reading—we
were
having
too
much
fun!
"Ms.
R,"(as
they
called
me),
"I
read
my
book
to
my
dog,
Sunny,
and
she
really
liked
it,
too."
Great!
That's
the
idea—keep
on
reading
to
others
at
home
to
increase
accuracy
and
fluency.
"Ms.
R,
my
mom
has
a
baby
in
her
belly.
I'm
going
to
be
a
big
sister
and
will
read
to
him
when
he
comes
out."
That
one
made
me
feel
all
warm
and
sweet,
and
I
told
the
student
that
she
would
be
the
best
big
sister
ever.
"Ms.
R,
why
do
you
have
gray
hair "
I
love
the
frankness
of
kids.
I
just
laughed
and
told
them
it
was
better
to
have
gray
hair
than
no
hair!
We
all
giggled(傻笑)at
that.
The
students
were
tested
throughout
the
year,
and
results
showed
that
they
were
making
progress
in
their
reading.
I
hope
I
played
at
least
a
small
part
in
their
academic
success.
When
I
first
volunteered
to
tutor,
I
was
a
bit
anxious.
I
had
no
teaching
experience,
but
I
found
out
that
you
don't
need
any.
All
you
need
is
the
willingness
to
give

【4题详解】
推理判断题。根据第一段“My
hands
were
a
bit
sweaty,
my
heart
was
pounding
in
my
chest,
and
my
throat
and
tongue
felt
tense
and
dry.(我的手有点出汗,我的心怦怦直跳,我的喉咙和舌头感到紧张和干燥。)”中的tense可知,作者第一次做阅读指导员的时候,是非常紧张的(nervous)。故选B项。
【5题详解】
细节理解题。根据第二段“The
Experience
Corps
developed
a
research-based,
statistically
proven
reading
improvement
program
which
consists
of
fun
reading
games.
In
the
games,
I'd
play
with
each
child
and
they
didn't
even
realize
that
they
were
actually
learning
and
improving
their
reading—we
were
having
too
much
fun!(Experience
Corps开发了一个基于研究及统计证明的阅读改进程序,其中包括有趣的阅读游戏。在游戏中,我和每个孩子一起玩,他们甚至没有意识到他们实际上是在学习和提高他们的阅读能力--我们玩得太开心了!)”可知,作者的主要任务是在某阅读程序下给读者提供阅读指导。故选D项。

C
One
of
the
greatest
challenges
in
caring
for
such
intelligent
animals
as
chimpanzees
(猩猩)
is
providing
them
with
enriching
experiences.
Every
day,
the
chimpanzees
at
Project
Chimps
receive
morning
and
evening
food-based
enrichment
devices,
but
caregivers
are
always
looking
for
more
ways
to
keep
the
chimps
mentally
engaged.
With
79
chimpanzees,
each
with
their
distinctive
personality,
care
staff
often
find
that
different
chimps
react
differently
to
new
enrichment.
Last
year,
we
began
inviting
musicians
to
perform
for
chimps
to
see
what
they
may
respond.
A
violin
performance
received
quite
the
response.
Additional
musicians
were
lined
up
to
visit
but
the
coronavirus
has
stopped
the
activities,
which
we
hope
to
resume
in
the
near
future.
This
past
week,
we
brought
an
electric
piano
for
the
chimps
to
investigate.
Some
chimps,
like
twins
Buttercup
and
Clarisse,
were
immediately
interested
and
could
not
wait
to
tap
out
a
few
notes.
Others,
like
Emma,
were
more
interested
in
trying
to
take
it
apart.
29-year-old
Precious
has
very
little
tolerance
for
the
piano.
She
sat
off
to
the
side
for
a
few
minutes,
but
eventually
she
decided
that
was
enough.
She
called
an
end
to
the
enrichment
session
by
throwing
a
handful
of
waste
at
the
piano.
Receiving
her
message
loud
and
clear,
we
removed
the
piano.
We
could
never
have
guessed
how
33-year-old
Luke
would
react
to
it.
As
with
many
retired
lab
chimpanzees,
Luke
has
some
anxiety
issues.
He
seems
particularly
distrustful
of
anything
new,
including
people,
food,
and
enrichment.
But
when
we
presented
the
chimps
with
the
piano,
Luke
was
the
first
to
investigate.
We
could
not
believe
our
eyes—this
usually
anxious
chimpanzee
bravely
chose
to
explore
something
new!
To
us
at
Project
Chimps,
this
is
what
it
is
all
about:
giving
chimpanzees
the
freedom
to
choose.
We
are
honored
to
be
part
of
their
journey.
8.
Why
do
chimpanzees
respond
differently
to
new
enrichment
A.
They
are
of
different
genders.
B.
They
have
natural
curiosities.
C.
They
are
as
intelligent
as
humans.
D.
They
have
their
unique
characters.
9.
Who
showed
the
least
interest
in
the
piano
A.
Buttercup
and
Clarisse.
B.
Emma.
C.
Precious.
D.
Luke.
10.
What
does
the
underlined
word
“resume”
in
Paragraph
2
mean
A.
Continue.
B.
Suspend.
C.
Monitor.
D.
Regulate.
11.
What
is
the
text
mainly
about
A.
How
caregivers
care
for
the
retired
chimpanzees.
B.
What
care
staff
do
to
enrich
chimpanzees’
daily
life.
C
How
chimpanzees
are
trained
through
various
enrichment.
D.
What
Project

to
observe

study
wild
chimps.

personality,
care
staff
often
find
that
different
chimps
react
differently
to
new

(有79只黑猩猩,每只都有各自独特的个性,护理人员经常发现,不同的黑猩猩对新事物的反应不同)”可知,每只猩猩都有自己独特的个性,所以对新事物会有不同的反应;选项D意为“他们有自己独特的性格”,与原文相符。故选D项。
【9题详解】
细节理解题。根据第四段前三句的“29-year-old
Precious
has
very
little

(29岁的Precious对钢琴的承受力很小。她在一旁坐了几分钟,但最后她觉得已经够了。她向钢琴扔了几个垃圾,以此结束了丰富的演奏)”可知,Precious对钢琴最不感兴趣。故选C项。
【10题详解】
词义猜测题。根据划线词所在句“Additional
musicians
were
lined
up
to

but
the
coronavirus
has
stopped
the
activities,
which
we
hope
to
resume
in
the

(更多的音乐家排队等着来为黑猩猩们演奏,但冠状病毒已经导致这个活动停止了,我们希望在不久的将来恢复这个活动)”,可知这个让音乐家给猩猩演奏乐器的活动因为新冠病毒被迫中止,但是我们希望在不久的将来能恢复这个活动,即继续进行这个活动。选项A意为“继续”,与原文相符。故选A项。
【11题详解】
主旨大意题。根据第一段前两句“One

(对于从事黑猩猩计划的我们来说,这就是它的全部意义:给予黑猩猩选择的自由。我们很荣幸能成为他们旅程的一部分)”可知,本文主要讲述了参与“黑猩猩计划”的护理人员为了丰富黑猩猩的生活而采取的各种措施;选项B意为“护理人员如何丰富黑猩猩的日常生活”,与原文相符。故选B项。
D
British
sculptor
Jason
Taylor
has
made
it
his
mission
to
use
his
talent
to
conserve
our
ecosystems
by
creating
underwater
museums.
Over
the
years,
the
environmentalist
has
put
over
850
massive
artworks
underwater
worldwide.
On
February
1,
2021,
Taylor
launched
his
latest
work---The
Underwater
Museum
of
Cannes.
“The
main
goal
was
to
bring
attention
to
the
fact
that
our
oceans
need
our
help,”
Taylor
told
Dezeen.
“Ocean
ecologies
have
been
destroyed
by
human
activity
in
the
Mediterranean
over
the
past
few
decades,
and
it
is
not
obvious
what
is
taking
place
when
observing
the
sea
from
afar.”
The
Underwater
Museum
of
Cannes
contains
6
sculptures
featuring
local
residents
of
various
ages.
They
range
from
Maurice,
an
80-year-old
fisherman,
to
Anouk,
a
9-year-old
student.
Towering
over
6-feet-tall
and
weighing
10
tons,
the
faces
are
sectioned
into
two
parts,
with
the
outer
part
like
a
mask.
The
mask
indicates
that
the
world’s
oceans
appear
powerful
and
unbeatable
from
the
surface
but
house
an
ecosystem
that
is
extremely
fragile
to
careless
human
activities.
Though
the
waters
surrounding
the
sculptures
now
appear
a
pristine
blue,
the
seabed
was
filled
with
old
boat
engines,
pipes,
and
other
human-made
trash
when
the
project
began
about
four
years
ago.
Besides
removing
the
trash,
Taylor
also
restored
the
area’s
seagrass.
Just
one
square
meter
of
the
seagrass
can
generate
up
to
10
liters
of
oxygen
daily.
The
seagrass
also
helps
prevent
coastal
erosion
and
provides
habitats
for
many
ocean
creatures.
“The
idea
of
creating
an
underwater
museum
was
to
draw
more
people
underwater
and
develop
a
sense
of
care
and
protection,”
Taylor
told
Dezeen.
“If
we
threw
unwanted
waste
near
a
forest,
there
would
be
a
public
outcry.
But
this
is
happening
every
day
in
our
surrounding
waters
and
it
largely
goes
unnoticed.”
12.
What
are
the
underwater
museums
intended
to
do
A.
To
make
huge
profits.
B.
To
raise
awareness
of
protecting
the
ocean.
C.
To
show
Jason
Taylor’s
talent.
D.
To
draw
attention
to
endangered
sea
animals.
13.
Why
does
the
outer
part
of
the
sculptures
look
like
a
mask
A.
To
popularize
the
features
of
the
locals.
B.
To
remind
people
to
protect
themselves.
C.
To
reflect
people’s
protection
of
the
ocean.
D.
To
stress
the
sensitiveness
of
the
ecosystem.
14.
What’s
Paragraph
4
mainly
about
A.
How
the
project
was
started.
B.
How
the
seagrass
was
restored.
C.
What
recovery
effort
the
project
made.
D.
Why
the
surroundings
were
improved.
15.
What
can
we
infer
from
what
Jason
Taylor
said
in
the
last
paragraph
A.
The
situation
of
the
ocean
is
easily
ignored.
B.
The
destruction
caused
to
the
ocean
is
noticeable.
C.
Forests
play
a
more
important
role
in
ecosystems.
D.
People
have
zero
tolerance
to
damage
done
to
nature.
【答案】12.

13.
D
14.
C
15.
A

这幅面具表明,从表面上看,世界上的海洋似乎强大而不可战胜,但它的生态系统对于粗心大意的人类活动来说极其脆弱)可知雕塑的外部看起来像一个面具是为了强调生态系统的敏感性。故选D。
【14题详解】
主旨大意题。根据第四段“Though

除了清理垃圾,泰勒还恢复了该地区的海草。
仅仅一平方米的海草每天就能产生多达10升的氧气。
海草还有助于防止海岸侵蚀,并为许多海洋生物提供栖息地)可知第四段主要讲了项目做出了哪些恢复努力。故选C。

Are
you
consciously
designing
your
life
Do
you
really
understand
what
that
means
and
how
to
do
it
This
matters
because
when
online

they’ll
give

the

and
financial

is
important
for
you
to
understand
what
designing
your

actually
looks

and
how
to

Get
clear
on
what
you

At
the
core
of
designing
your
life
is
the
question
of
what
you
actually
want
and
what
will
help
you
wake
up
excited
to
live
every
day.____17____
Create
a
plan.
Think
about
your
life
like
a
beautiful
work
of
architecture.
A
bunch
of
builders
didn’t
just
walk
out
there
one
day
and
start
throwing
things
together
in
the
hope
that
something
nice
would
turn
out.____18____And
they
did
it
long
before
they
ever
even
broke
ground
on
building
it.
Be
flexible
and
open-minded.
Even
when
there
is
a

in

those
who
live
the
most
fulfilled
and
joyful
lives
are
those
who
are
flexible
and
open-minded
to
change
and
new
opportunities.____19____It
is
that
fluid(流动的)nature
of
life
that
brings
uncertainty
and
adventure
into
the
picture.
Therefore,
the
plans
you
make
today
may
no
longer
be
relevant
tomorrow.
____20____We
live
in
a
society
where
“busy”
is
celebrated.
The
problem
is
that
when
busy
becomes
your
way
of
living,
the
things
you
care
most
about
have
a
way
of
getting
buried
under
others.
That’s
why
the
art
of
learning
to
say
“no”
more
often
is
necessary
if
you
want
to
start
designing
your
life.
One
truth
about
life
is
that
you
can’t
do
two
things
at
once—at
least
not
effectively.
A.
Say“no”more
often.
B.
Then
you
need
to
create
your
“life
by
design”.
C.
There
exists
a
culture
where
“no”
has
a
negative
suggestion.
D.
To
achieve
this,
you
have
to
make
it
clear
what
you
exactly
want.
E.
Many
aspects
of
your
life
are
constantly
developing
and
changing.
F.
Be
like
the
architect
and
take
the
time
to
create
the
plan
before
you
start.
G.
Instead,
they
did
the
dull
work
of

【解析】
【分析】本文是一篇说明文。文章主要介绍了如何智慧地计划自己的生活。
【16题详解】
上文“This
matters
because
when
online
marketers
are
selling
their
services
or
products,
they’ll
give
you
the
time
and
financial
freedom.(这很重要,因为当在线营销人员销售他们的服务或产品时,他们会给你时间和经济自由。)”讲有意识地计划自己的生活很重要,因为你有时间和经济自由;下文“It
is
important
for
you
to
understand
what
designing
your
life
actually
looks
like
and
how
to
do
it
effectively.(对你来说,了解设计你的生活实际上是什么样子,以及如何有效地进行设计是很重要的。)”也是在讲计划生活的重要性,因此推断空格处话题一致,讲计划自己的生活,B项中的“create
your
“life
by
design””承接上下文,因此推断B项“你可以创造自己设计的生活”承上启下,符合语境。故选B。
【17题详解】
上文“At
the
core
of
designing
your
life
is
the
question
of
what
you
actually
want
and
what
will
help
you
wake
up
excited
to
live
every
day.(
计划你生活的核心是你真正想要什么以及什么能让你兴奋地醒来,每天好好生活。)”讲计划你生活的核心是你要知道自己真正想要什么,D项中的“make
it
clear
what
you
exactly
want”
承接what
you
actually
want
,因此推断D项“要做到这一点,你必须清楚自己到底想要什么。”符合语境。故选D。
【18题详解】
上文“A
bunch
of
builders
didn’t
just

structure”和上文的“builders”话题一致,因此推断G项“相反,他们做了枯燥的工作,绘制那个建筑物的每一个细节。”符合语境,与上文是转折关系。故选G。
【19题详解】
下文“It

【解析】
【分析】这是一篇说明文。文章介绍了古希腊文明中雅典卫城的相关历史信息以及价值。
【41题详解】
考查形容词的比较级。句意:没有人比古希腊人对西方文明的影响更大。根据名词influence
可知此处要用形容词修饰名词,再由than可知此处要用形容词的比较级。故填greater。
【42题详解】
考查动词时态。句意:希腊文明在各个领域都取得了进步,至今仍影响着世界。根据so
far可知定语从句的时态要用现在完成时,且关系代词that指的是advances。故填have
influenced。
【43题详解】
考查固定短语。句意:我们尤其会把古希腊文明与雅典的首都联系在一起,而雅典的最大象征就是卫城。固定短语associate
…with…与…联系在一起。故填with。
【44题详解】
考查定语从句的关系词。句意:我们尤其会把古希腊文明与雅典的首都联系在一起,而雅典的最大象征就是卫城。此处是介词+which引导的定语从句,关系代词which指的是上文的Athens。故填which。
【45题详解】
考查非谓语动词。句意:阿克罗波利斯是位于雅典市中心的一块巨大而平坦的岩石,高高耸立在城市上空。分析句子成分可知,主语是The
Acropolis,谓语是is,因此此处要用非谓语动词,且rise与逻辑主语The
Acropolis之间是主动关系,因此要用现在分词形式。故填rising。
【46题详解】
考查名词的复数。句意:它是世界上最宏伟的历史遗址之一。根据形容词historic可知此处要用名词,由one
of
the
grandest+名词复数,是固定短语,可知要用名词的复数形式,site是可数名词。故填sites。
【47题详解】
考查副词。句意:然而,纵观历史,雅典卫城并没有避免得了被破坏。由hasn’t
avoided
damage可知要用表示转折的副词,与上文是转折关系。故填However。
【48题详解】
考查副词。句意:它被自然力量破坏了一部分,但最严重的是人为造成的。此处要用副词修饰动词has
been
damaged。故填partly。
【49题详解】
考查不定式作目的状语。句意:1687年,来自意大利的一次进攻导致了埋在帕台农神庙的火药爆炸。根据谓语动词caused可知此处要用不定式作目的状语,表示目的。故填to
explode。
【50题详解】
考查动词时态语态。句意:1801年,许多最好的雕塑被盗。根据In
1801可知时态是一般过去时,且主语是many
of
the
best
sculptures,与steal之间是动宾关系,因此要用被动语态,主语many是复数,故谓语用复数。故填were
stolen。
【点睛】第2小题考查了现在完成时的用法。现在完成时结构:have/has+过去分词。主要用法有:
1、表示过去所发生的动作或事情对现在的影响或产生的结果,着眼点在现在。现在完成时时常与不确定的过去时间状语连用,表示“已发生”或“未发生”,如:yet,just,before,recently,once,lately,of
late等;也同表示频度的时间状语连用,如:often,ever,never,sometimes,twice,on
several
occasions等;也同包括现在时间在内的时间状语连用,如:now,today,this
morning,this
month,this
year等。但不能同特定的过去时间状语(in
1995,last
year等)连用。例句:
He
has
lost
his
wallet.他的钱包丢了。
Why
haven’t
I
seen
you
all
these
months
我怎么这么多月没看见你呢?
We’ve
had
too
much
rain
this
year.今年雨水太多。
2、表示一个从过去某个时间开始,延续到现在,并可能延续下去的动作。常同表示包括现在时间在内的一段时间的状语连用,如:so
far,up
to
now,since
last
year,for
a
long
time,all
my
life,these
few
days等。例句:
He
has
worked
here
for
over
twenty
years.
他在这里工作已有20多年了。
Up
to
now,
we
have
received
no
news
from
her.
到现在为止,我们没有从她那里收到任何消息。

【解析】
【分析】本文为说明文。这篇短文介绍现在高三年级的学生们通常面对很大压力,给出一些建议让学生们减少压力。
【详解】1.考查定语从句。句意:现在高三学生普遍面临着很大的压力,这种情况相当普遍的。分析句子可知,本句中的that指代前面的一句话,指代前面的一句话要用which,而不能that。故把that改为which。
2.考查名词复数。句意:下面的建议可能会有所帮助。suggestion是可数名词。根据下文的内容可知是多个建议,可知要用复数形式,故把suggestion
改为suggestions。
3.考查主谓一致。句意:首先,要知道是什么导致了你的压力,然后你就可以采取措施来解决它。what
lead
to
your
pressure是宾语从句,主句谓语是一般现在时。结合句意可知谓语用一般现在时,从句中主语是what,谓语用第三人称单数形式。故把lead改为leads。故把lead改为leads

4.考查固定搭配。句意:第二,设立一个不太高的目标,换句话说,不要给自己施加太多压力。“in
other
words为固定搭配,意为“换句话说”,句中多了the,因此去掉in后的the

5.考查语境及词的辨析。句意:不要给自己施加太多压力。句中的pressure为不可数名词。many修饰可数名词的复数,而much修饰不可数名词。因此把many
改为much。
6.考查祁使句。句意:第三,偶尔找方法来放松自己的。分析句子可知,本句是一个祁使句,要用动词原形,而不是非谓语。故把finding改为find

7.考查语境。句意:你可以听音乐,游泳或只是简单的散步等。listen为不及物动词,后面不能直接跟宾语,要用介词to,故要在listen后添加to

8.考查副词辨析的。分析句子可知,本句中的go是动词,修饰动词要用副词形式,而simple为形容词,因此要用其副词形式simply。故把simple改为simply。
9.
考查语境。句意:和其他人交朋友,例如你的同学、老师和我们的父母。他们会理解你,并且会帮助你。分析句子可知,本句祈使句。其逻辑主语是you。因此是你的父母,而不是our,故把.our改为your。
10.考查连词。句意:当你真的遇到了麻烦,他们会理解你,并且会帮助你。分析语境可知,当你遇到麻烦,而不是尽管。故把
though改为when/if。
【点睛】定语从句中只能用which不能用that的情况。定语从句中只能用which的情况如下:
1.在非限定性定语从句中先行词指物,不能用that,只能用which。
The
tree,
which
is
four
hundred
years
old,
is
very
