一.Text Analysis(SectionA 1a--2c):
In this period, it includes Section B from 1a to 2c. By watching the pictures, the students can learn some new describing words and phrases about clothes. Erin has some problems, and call Teen Talk, the listener give her some advice. Picture part introduce the key vocabulary and give the students practice in understanding the target language in listening, then help the students to practice speaking with the target language.

I think Erin should tell her friend to get different clothes.

Step 1 Warming-up
Sing an English song ‘take me home country roads”
The teacher played the viedo and sang after the viedo. Students sang after the viedo.
Step2 Review and lead-in
Show pictures about some problems and ask students to discuss and give some advice, using the languages that they have learnt in period1.
Eg.1. Dennis wants to buy a car but he doesn't have enough money. What should he do
2. Tom lost his money on the bus. What should he do
3. listen to the tape about Ann and answer two question “what’s the matter with Ann What should she do
Step 3 Pre-task
Learn some new describing words and phrases.
Step 4 While-task
Listening practice. Section B 2a,2b
1. Teacher explain the questions and prepare for listening.
2. Listen and check the answers.
3. Read the tapescripts.
Step 4 Post-task
Make a conversation and explain some important language points.
Step5 writing
Show a student’s picture and tell other students about this student’s problem, then ask them to write down their advice for him.
