This happened with me ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )once while coming back from office late at night. The time was around 11:30 pm and most of the public transport had stopped.
It had been a lon ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )g busy day. I was annoyed and too eager to reach home and rest. I was on my bike. The traffic signal just before my house turned red and my anger rose.
Then suddenly some ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )one came up from behind me and tried to hand me a piece of paper. I thought it was another one of those people who hand you pages of some sad story and ask you for money. I could feel anger boiling up inside me. I shirked (避开) the person away with the motion of my hand without even looking at him.
This guy mov ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ed over to the next person in traffic and did a similar thing of showing him the paper. The other guy who was not in as bad mood as mine looked at the paper and started giving directions. It was at this moment I realized that the person who came to me was asking for directions. He couldn't speak so he had written it down on a piece of paper. He was not some beggar asking for money, and he was dressed as a salesman carrying one of those bulky encyclopedias After getting the directions he smiled at the person, bowed his head showing his appreciation and jogged away to the other end of the road.
I felt a sudden ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) tender pity for him. By the time the signal turned green this salesman was standing at the other end of the road sigalling people for a lift. I decided to help him out but my house was on a different route than where he was asking for a lift. I moved on but I was still felling bad for treating a hard working person that way.

After going about 10 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )0 meters, I decided to turn back to offer him a helping hand.
When another bike st ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )opped and he sat on the bike, he noticed me in the distance.
After going about 10 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )0 meters I decided to turn back to offer him a helping hand. Nothing could set my mind at rest other than having a chance to make up for treating him that way. Without hesitation, I turned around and made my way to where we first met. When I saw him, the exhausted but patient salesman was still signalling at people for a lift and meanwhile showing them the piece of paper. I pressed my feet down sharply on the pedals in a desperate attempt to offer my help as soon as possible.www-2-1-cnjy-com
When another bike s ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )topped and he sat on the bike, he noticed me in the distance. I thought he would probably pretend not to have seen me. To my surprise, he smiled and waved at me as he was swallowed up by the crowd. I was almost rooted to the spot with regretful tears rolling down my cheeks. Though this incident didn’t change my life, I learned a precious lesson: try to treat others with tolerance and kindness even though sometimes life throws you a curveball.

Teddy was a bea ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )r of habit. Every morning he woke up at the same time, stretched, scratched,
and yawned(打哈欠). E ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )very morning the bees in his yard delivered three jars of honey so that Teddy ate the same breakfast he'd eaten since he was a hairy baby: toast with honey and tea with extra honey.
Next came his daily ro ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )utine: practicing the rolling skill and running errands(做杂事). At night
he'd read, and then have one last cup of honey tea before bed.
Life was sweet. Until one morning...
One morning some ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )thing abnormal had happened. There was no honey. The bees had gone on
strike!
Teddy's brea ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )kfast wasn't the same without honey. Without his honey tea, he couldn't practice
rolling, or run errand ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )s, or read at night. Teddy became deeply discouraged.
Just then he heard s ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )omeone say, “Hey, you! In the fur coat!" It was a very small bee with a
very loud voice. “We need to talk!" said the bee.
“Talk Hmmph!" c ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )omplained Teddy. “I let you all live in my yard. All I ask for is a few jars of
honey. You should be grateful rather than strike!"
“A few jars " said ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) the bee. “Buddy, we deliver three jars of honey to you every day, every month, every year! Do the maths, Einstein."
"The hive(蜂巢) is in ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) ruins!" the bee continued. "It's all we can do to keep the walls from
falling in! The roof leaks! Wind blows through the holes!"
The bee showed ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) Teddy the garden. "Look!" the bee said. “Weeds everywhere. We have to fly
miles away to find ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )enough flowers to make our honey. So we voted to strike."
“You are taking ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) us for granted." the bee declared. “You want honey We won't come back
unless things have cha ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )nged. It's up to you, bear." And with that, the very small bee flew off.
The thought o ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )f losing his honey upset Teddy greatly. He sat down to think about the situation.
“Maybe I've been too ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) selfish." Teddy said to himself, “I've never thought about what the bees need.【出处:21教育名师】

Soon Teddy had a ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )n idea of what to do. He set out to learn about his neighbor by studying in the books how bees lived and how they harvested honey. Those things had never come to his mind before. He bought building materials to restore the walls and roof of the broken hive. After clearing out the weeds in the yard and buying many flower seeds from the market, he planted them carefully and watered them every day. “It's really rude to expect them to do it all themselves.” he reflected.
Spring came an ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )d Teddy was expecting the bees. “What will they think ” he held his breath as he waited. Then he heard the familiar loud voice of the very small bee. “Drop the signs of strike, girls. It’s time to get back to work!” The bee family happily settled down in the newly repaired hive and flew busily among the beautiful flowers. Teddy was still a bear of habit, eating his honey every day, but he didn’t take it for granted any more. He knew life was sweet and now it was even sweeter for everyone.
Summary of the given story:
Every morning Ted ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )dy woke up to find jars of fresh honey in his yard. He made honey toast for breakfast and drank honey tea before bed. Life with honey was sweet for Teddy. But one day, the jars in his yard were empty. The bees in his yard had gone on strike. They were tired of doing all the work without being respected and cared about by Teddy. What could Teddy do to make the bees happy and bring sweetness back to his days 2-1-c-n-j-y
二、 Theme of the story:
The story is all abou ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )t being able to live with each other, and respect each other, and give and take. Because the best part about being in a community is being able to live together and let everybody's life be sweet at the same time.
第一段的首句“Soon Teddy ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) had an idea of what to do.”, 提示我们本段的续写思路是Teddy用实际行动改变现状,所以应该回归原文故事内容分析蜜蜂罢工的原因:1.
2 修蜂房(必写要点);
第二段的首句“Spring came and ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) Teddy was expecting the bees.” 21*cnjy*com
1 Teddy was expecting ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) the bees.时的心情描述比如期待的,激动的,忐忑的- - - - - - 。-学生写出此情此景中合情合理的心理活动都可得分(注意此要点为加分要点,如果学生写了,要适当加分,但如果学生没有写也不扣分);
2 环境变好(必写要点);
One possible version:
Soon Teddy had an i ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )dea of what to do. He set out to learn about his neighbor by studying in the books how bees lived and how they harvested honey. Those things had never come to his mind before. He bought building materials to restore the wall and roof of the broken hive.
“What will they think ” he held his breath as he waited nervously.

Once upon a time wh ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )en I was in school my best friend called me late night on Saturday to invite me to her birthday the next day. I was very happy and excited to go there but I needed to take permission from my parents. I went to their room and slowly asked them. They said, “OK, you can go but you should be back before 10.”
Then my prepar ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ations started. I made a card for my friend and started selecting clothes for the party. Finally everything completed and I went to sleep and only one thing was there in my mind all the time-THE PARTY. I was waiting for the night to end and the party to begin.
Next morning my ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) Mom was surprised to see that I just woke up by myself, no alarm, no Mom's warning. The whole day had passed and now it was party time. My father dropped me to my friend's place and said that he would be back at 10.
I enjoyed a ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )lot at the party. My friend loved the card that I made for her and everybody in the party loved my dress. I was on cloud nine. We had dinner, played so many games and it was 10 finally. I remembered my parents' advice that I should be back by 10. I came out and started searching for my dad, but I could not find him. I was so worried and scared; everybody was inside, but I was alone there. I waited there for 5 to 10 minutes but waiting alone seemed to be more than the time. I started walking, and I thought at least I could go home by walking as my home was 20 minutes away from my friend's place. As I was walking I was weeping as I had never walked alone
on the road at night.

We were soon rea ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )dy and set out. Papa carried a basket of wood on one arm and coal on the other, while mamma with a bundle of warm things and the teapot. Nan and I carried a bucket of hot porridge between us. Beth brought some meal, May the “lassy pot”. What a miserable place it was. Six children are huddled into one bed to keep warm. “Ah, my god! it is the good angels that come to us!” cried the poor woman, with tears of joy.
Seeing the hous ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )e totally in a mess, we fell to work immediately. Papa made a splendid fire in the old fireplace and fixed the broken window. Mamma set the shivering children round the fire, and wrapped the poor woman in warm things and then dressed the poor little new-born baby as tenderly as if it had been her own. We spread the table, and fed the starving little ones. Beth gave the mother porridge, comforting her with assurance of better days for all. It was a very happy breakfast of the New Year’s day, though we didn’t get any of it.
(受助者)they were starvin ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )g this bitter cold day; …lies a poor woman with a little new-born baby. Six children are huddled into one bed to keep from freezing;
(我们) with the b ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )reakfast untouched before us. give them your breakfast, as a New Year’s gift;hot porridge, creamy milk, and good bread and butter; giving the thing she loved best;carry it to the poor;Not far away from here;
(1)第一段开头We were soon ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) ready and set out.因此,第一段的第一点应该描写“我们”带着New Year’s gift(吃的,过冬的物品等)走向对方家的情景。可以写动作,路上的scene,但是场景的描写不宜多而且应该切题;
(2)第一段的第二点简单可以描写受助 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )者家里的环境描写,突出主题,例如“家徒四壁”(there were only several pieces of broken furniture等)“寒冷潮湿昏暗”等damp cold and gloomy; 人物描写如:pale and thin, the baby was crying等;
(3) 第一段的第三点可以出现描写“受助者感激”的语句;
Seeing the ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )house totally in a mess, we fell to work immediately.
It was a ve ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ry happy breakfast of the New Year’s day;Maybe there were no better New Year gifts than the breakfast for them.(如果有点题语句,档内分数适当靠上一点)这一点不作为评分的必要条件,只要学生表达合理恰当就行。

My mother eyed me wi ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )th suspicion (怀疑). I dared not look at her. Knowing that I was late from school five days continuously, I could not offer an acceptable explanation. I knew she did not believe that I had extra classes every day and arrived home after 5 pm. However, realizing she had little choice but to believe in me, she told me that dinner was in the refrigerator. She had to rush for her night shift at the local clinic.
Ever since we lost ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) our dad in an accident, my mother became the breadwinner. I was the eldest among the four siblings (兄弟姐妹) and it fell upon my shoulder to ensure that they could become responsible adults. Besides helping mother with the housework, I regularly coached them in their studies. Thankfully, never once had I had to raise my voice or force them to complete their homework. But all of us missed dad very much. He was a model father and husband. Life was
cruelly taken away from him at a very young age of 42.
However, my mot ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )her managed to pull through and found a job at the clinic. It was very tough
on someone like her ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) who had never worked before in her life. But money was scarce and there were five mouths to feed. Dad did not leave much behind. He never suspected he would die so young. We stopped dining out and had our meals mostly at home. We basically lived from hand to mouth. That's when it dawned on me that I had to do my part for the family. I knew mother would not agree but I threw caution out of the window and managed to get a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant. I worked three hours a day and managed to bring home money so that my siblings and I could go out for occasional movies or meals. I was sure that mother suspected something. But she could not quite point the figure to the source of her suspicion.

Possible version
For days I watched ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) Nellie and John carefully. But, there were no new pants. I kept wondering what might have happened to the certificate. Maybe, John was just saving them for the party. I even doubted if Nellie had used it for herself. But, in a moment, I told myself that she wouldn't do that. For days, I just watched in vain for new pants to appear until the day of our party when my guests arrived in smart costumes.
John finally came in ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )an old shirt, with the same brown corduroy pants. Nobody seemed to care, though. I was still thinking about the certificate when Nellie announced there was a math game for a prize. As it turned out, John had the last laugh and became the winner. Nellie took out a box, in which was the very envelope! I couldn't be too proud to have a friend like Nellie. The next week, John wore a pair of new pants every day, bearing a big smile on his face.

The Teacher Who Wrestled A Cougar
For days, a cougar (美 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )洲狮) had been edging closer to the small village at
the edge of the mounta ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ins of southern British Columbia in Canada. Now, after drinking the river's cold water, the cougar bedded down again in a nest of tall grass.
On July 3, 1991, the t ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )hree children in Larrane's day care group were outdoors early, painting bright flowers under the sun. By 10 a.m., it was time to find shade, so Larrane decided they would walk down to the river. "We're going to pick strawberries now," she announced.
At 44, she had made h ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )er dream come true when she turned her home into a day care center. It had taken hard work to get her certification. So far the center was operating smoothly. But she always worried about keeping her clients satisfied, as well as being able to care for enough children to make the business pay off. Larrane had known all three children in her care since they were babies. They were shy Mikey, a three-year-old boy; Aleshia, a playful girl aged four; and the group leader Natani, a girl of five years old.
After clearing away t ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )he painting supplies and handing each child an empty jar on that July morning. Larrane called for Pal, her one-year-old German sheepdog. Cheering with anticipation, Alleshia and Natani paired off in front. Larrane linked Mikey's hand and said. "Let's go."
The group made ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )its way over the dusty road and then onto a dirt trail through the trees. The two girls broke into a run through the brown grass at the trail's edge. Larrane and the lite one Mikery
hurried to keep up.

3.Larrane
3. Pal
21cnjy.com

So appealing was her ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )pleasure that I forgot I was looking for a job and went directly to her small house. The air was f ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )ull of Christmas merriment, with the bells ringing and children shouting in the bitter dusk of the evening. But there should be no Christmas for me, I knew, no gifts, no remembrance whatsoever.

Suddenly, a note attached to one package caught my eyes(突然之间贴在一个包裹上的一张便条吸引了我的注意力),可见拿到的包裹应该是不知道何人所送,否则为何会有suddenly这样的描写?
