Greet to the Ss. 2. Show Ss the video of great inventions and talk with the Ss about the inventions. Greet to the teacher and talk with the teacher about the inventions With the help of teacher,Ss can learn something about inventions. This step aims to arouse Ss’ interests in inventions and can activate their learned knowledge about inventions.Step2: Pre-Speaking (5’) Words and sentence learning show the Ss some pictures and describe these inventions to the Ss. Later let Ss describe the inventions. Look at the pictures and try to describe inventions. Try to know something basic about inventions. By using vivid pictures to learn new words, Ss will be willing to remember all the words. This step is not only designed to let Ss make a review of words, but also to teach object clauses.Step3: While-speaking (10’) Pair work: teachers show photos and ask Ss to practice in pairs. Dub: let two students dub the dialogue through the silent video. Ss can practice first and then they should work in pairs to ask and answer with the help of provided information. Ss are supposed to work in pairs to dub this dialogue;At the same time, the other students can improve their pronunciation and intonation. Ss can receive enough practice for both vocabularies and sentence pattern by this step.Step4: Pre-Listening (2’) Organize Ss guess the anticipated answer of the question first and then ask them to focus on the words while listening. 1.Ss are supposed to guess before listening where the speakers are and choose one anticipated answer before listening. 2.Ss have to know what is the most important to focus on and check the words they hear.
