1. 报道——垃圾分类
In order to raise the awareness of environmental protection and appeal to all staff and students of our school to take action， a wonderful speech on garbage classification was delivered by Mr Wang at our school lecture hall， last Sunday.
Mr Wang， a specialist in garbage cla-ssification， made great contributions to popu-larizing the new policy. He explained the policy in detail and encouraged each individual to do his part. All the teachers and students learned a lot from the speech and had a new perspective of garbage classification. At the end of his speech， we showed our respect for Mr Wang with applause. The speech was also warmly received outside our school， especially students' parents.
2. 日记——逃生演习
May 15， Saturday
In order to help students grasp the basic knowledge of how to survive and escape from the disaster， a drill was held in our school today.
Firstly， detailed and clear instructions were given on what to do to handle the unexpected accident. After the alarm sounded， we covered the head and ran out one by one. Everyone walked on the right and went down the stairs quickly to find some safe places. Lastly， first aid was also introduced.
Through the drill， we have not only learned how to escape in an emergency but also the way to protect ourselves. I think it is vital for everyone to master these skills.
3. 议论文——旅游方式
When it comes to the ways of travelling， everyone has his or her own preference. Some people like travelling with friends or family while others like travelling alone. For me， I prefer the latter one.
First of all， by travelling alone， I can make my own decisions and get to know myself better. Secondly， travelling alone makes it possible for me to communicate with local people and make new friends. Thirdly， it is a good chance to be independent. Travelling alone can teach me how to deal with problems in difficult situations. Lastly， travelling with friends costs more time sometimes， because you need to decide how and where you will go.
