Unit 7 Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes.
一、教材分析
本单元以“rules”为中心话题,让学生学会谈论允许和不许做的事情;应该被允许和不被允许的事情;能够针对允许和不被允许的事情发表自己的观点,并能叙述同意和不同意的理由,这些对学生的成长有重要意义。Section A通过对话及讨论青少年驾车、自己选衣服、穿耳洞戴耳环等介绍重点词汇和语言结构——含有情态动词的被动语态,紧接着出现训练同意和不同意的句子并在各种情景里训练本单元话题、语法和句型,让学生在语境中体会情态动词后接被动语态的用法,学习并掌握should be allowed to do sth.同时,在情感上,让学生感到父母对子女的关爱和教导。这部分的重点是情态动词后接被动语态的用法,难点是理解诗歌中的语言和一些短语。Section B不仅进一步巩固了本单元的话题内容——青少年该做什么,不该做什么,再现了重点语法和词汇,还回顾了前面单元的一般现在时和一般过去时的被动语态,设置更多的真实语境再现其用法,巩固和拓展词汇,强化被动语态的运用意识。这部分的重点是加强学生对被动语态的理解和认识,合理运用三种被动语态的句式,让学生通过阅读语篇了解父母与孩子对待未来梦想的不同态度;难点是让学生学会正确运用阅读中所学的词汇和句式。
二、学情分析
九年级的孩子处于青春叛逆期,应该在家长和教师的指导下清楚自己应该做和不应该做的事情,增强学生遵守规则的意识。
第一课时 Section A 1 (1a-2d)
一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词:license (=licence),safety, smoke
能掌握以下句型:
①—I don’t think sixteen-year-olds should be allowed to drive.
—I agree, they aren’t serious enough.
②Teenagers should not be allowed to smoke.
③ Students should not be allowed to have part-time jobs.
④Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes.

在英语中,动词有两种语态,即主动语态和被动语态。主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者,被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者。在前面两个单元我们已经学习了一般现在时的被动语态和一般过去时的被动语态,它们的结构为:are/ is +及物动词的过去分词, were/ was+及物动词的过去分词。

本单元我们主要了解含有情态动词的被动语态。它的结构是什么呢?观察下面
例句中含情态动词被动语态的各种形式,然后补全结论中所缺的内容。
【例句】
1. Many trees should be planted in the mountains.
应该在山上种许多树。
2. You can take this book home. (改为被动语态)
→This book can be taken home (by you).
3. This problem can’t be worked out very easily. 这道题轻易算不出来。
4. Must the work be done at once 这项工作必须立即完成吗?
【结论】
A. 含有情态动词的被动语态的结构为:情态动词+___+及物动词的________。
B. 含有情态动词的主动语态变为被动语态时,要把主动语态的_____变成被动语
态的主语。
C. 变为否定句时只需要在情态动词后加________。
