The whole passage consists of 6 paragraphs.
1. How many parts can the 6 paragraphs be divided into
2. Which paragraph belongs to which part
The first paragraph is the first part telling the main idea of the passage which lies in the first sentence.
The second part consists of 2,3, and 4 paragraphs showing that body language differs from culture to culture by giving examples.
Second part: Body language varies from culture o culture.
Example 1: eye contact
Example 2: the gesture for OK
Example 3: the gesture we use for “yes” and “no”
The third part is paragrph 5 showing that some gestures are universal.
Example 1: the gesture meaning sleep
Example 2: the gesture meaning “I'm full”
The last part is paragrph 6 showing body language has many different uses.
Example 1: A smile can help get through difficult situations
Example 2: A smile can break down barriers
Example 3: A smile can serve as an apology

Chinese people seldom make eye contact when they talk. They ususally look down to show respect when talking to other people especially an old one. But in western countries people will think you are not interested in what he or she is talking about.
3. What advice on body language can you give a foreign friend on his/her first trip to China
Just as an old saying goes “When in Rome, do as the Romans do”.
★A smile can work well to show your friendliness.
★Chinese people don't always touch each other, so please don't do that.
★Try not to look into someone's eyes or other people thinks you are inviting a fight.
