Unit 8 At Christmas第一课时（Story time）教案
一、教学目标
1.能听懂、会说、会读词汇：Christmas, present, Christmas tree, Father
Christmas, pretty, thing, Christmas Eve, stocking, wait for, finally, Christmas Day, turkey, pudding, all, have a good time
2. 学生能初步理解并尝试运用句型“First…, Next…,Then…, Finally…”有序的描述圣诞节前后进行的一系列活动。
3.能灵活运用buy, put等动词以及短语描述有关圣诞节的活动与习俗
二、教学重难点
1、教学重点

四、教学过程：
Step1.Warming up

3. A Guessing game
T: Boys and girls, do you like games Let’s play a guessing game!
(1) What It’s green. There are some beautiful things on it. You can put some presents under it. What is it 板书：Christmas tree
(2) What It’s long. It hangs on the bed .There are some presents in it. What is it 板书：A Christmas stocking
(3) Who It’s an old man .it’s fat and lovely .It always gives children presents. Who is it 板书：Father Christmas
（设计意图：一声亲切的问候、一首节日气氛浓厚的歌曲，同时充分利用授课当天是圣诞节的特殊日期，浑然不觉间将学生引入文本情境“At Christmas”。学生自然融入于欢乐的圣诞语言环境中，唤起强烈的学习动机，激起 “说”的语言技能。）

T: The day after Christmas Eve is Christmas Day. 板书：Christmas Day
T: The days before Christmas Eve are called before Christmas.
