How does he go to work He goes to work by bike.”并能在情景中进行运用。2.能理解并掌握三会单词“sea, stay”。3.能独立完成“Let's try”部分的训练。教学重点:掌握句子“Where does he work How does he go to work ”并能在情景中熟练运用。教学难点:能灵活运用四会句型与他人自如地交流。教学准备:人物头饰、教学光盘、课件教学过程:Step 1: Warm-up1.播放歌曲“What do you want to do ”学生跟唱,男女生比赛唱。2.请一名学生当小教师,点击图片,出示不同职业的图片,小教师问:What does he/she do 学生根据图片回答:He/She is a/an … 。Step 2: Presentation1.完成“Let’s try”的听力练习部分,Mike和Xiao Yu在即将回家的时候,遇到了Xiao Yu的叔叔,引出问题让学生思考,并带着问题听听力。核对答案,引导理解对话大意。2.教师和学生“Free talk”,引入今天所学的重点句型。T: Where do I work S1: You work at school.T: How do you go to school today S1: I go to school by bus.教师展示不同的人物以及不同的出行方式,让学生模仿师生对话,练习句型:How does … go to work He/She goes work …教师展示一幅医生和医院的图片,T:Where does he work Ss: He works in hospital.出示不同职业的图片和不同的地点,引导学生用Where does he/she work 3.播放“Let's talk”的录音,让学生带着下列问题听录音,边听边画出不理解的单词、短语或句子。(1)Where does Mike's uncle work (2)How does he go to work 4.再次播放光盘,让学生跟读,学习正确的语音语调,并理解意思。5.同桌二人戴上人物头饰表演对话。Step 3:Consolidation and extension1.“Make a report”,全班分成若干小组,每个小组的成员分别采访自己组员父母工作的地点和出行的方式,运用句型:Where does she/he work How does she/he go to work 制作表格,每组派一个代表在全班做一个“report”。2.教师讲台前摆放三类单词卡片,职业名称,工作地点,交通方式,每组派一名代表上台提问,其他组员回答,按照抽到的图片回答,如职业:police officer, factory, by bike: He is a police officer. He works in a factory. He goes to work by bike.3.课堂小练习:补充翻译。She teaches us English. (教我们英语)Tom goes to work by bus. (乘公共汽车)What does your father do?(你爸爸)He goes to Hong Kong by plane. (乘飞机)Amy's mother is a farmer.(一个农民)Step 4: Homework将对话朗读给父母听,向朋友用英语介绍自己父母的工作地点和出行方式。板书设计:Unit 5 What does he do Part A: Let's try & Let's talkWhere does he work He works at sea.How does he go to work He goes to work by bike.教学反思:本课时主要培养学生口语交际能力,让学生能在日常口语交际中灵活运用所学重点句型询问和回答工作地点和出行方式。作为一堂以口语为重点的课程,教师在教学过程的第一步即以对话来引入重点句型,并利用课件对重点句型进行大量操练,让学生能对重点句型灵活运用。然后以听、演的方式锻炼学生的听力和口头表达能力,调动了学生的积极性和主动性。Part B 第二课时Let's learn & Write and discuss教学目标:1.能听、说、读、写单词:fisherman, scientist, pilot, coach。2.能听、说、认、读句型“Where does she work she works at a university.”并能在情景中运用,询问他人的工作。3.能完成“Write and discuss”练习。4.了解不同的职业,树立自己的理想,并教育学生一切职业平等。教学重点:听、说、读、写单词:fisherman, scientist, pilot, coach。教学难点:运用所学的语言交流有关工作情况。教学准备:单词卡片、教学光盘教学过程:Step 1: Warm-up教师利用课件展示不同人物,不同职业、不同的工作地点、不同交通方式的表格(图片),如:利用表格,学生对话如下:S1: What does Mike do S2: He is a teacher.S3: Where does he work S2: He works in a school.S1: How does he go to work S2: On foot.Step 2: Presentation1.出示“Let’s talk”部分教学挂图,T:What does Mike's uncle do Ss: He is a fisherman. T: Where does he work Ss: He works at sea.板书“fisherman=fish-er-man”,引导学生记忆,并教读。2.出示做实验的图片,用英文标注“Oliver’s aunt”,T:What does she do She is a scientist.板书scientist。T: Where does she work Ss: She works at a university.3.出示飞行员驾驶飞机的图片,T:What does he do 教师用单词卡片展示“pilot”,并板书单词,教读。4.展示一段球赛视频,并指着在球赛中布置任务的教练问:What does he do 教师给学生解释:He is a coach.板书“coach”,并教读。T: Where does he work Ss: He works is a gym.5.播放“Let's learn”部分的录音,学生跟读,并替换职业和工作地点演练对话。Step 3:Consolidation and extension1.同桌二人合作将“Let's learn”部分的四幅图按顺序一一问答职业和工作地点,如:S1: What does he do S2: He is a fisherman. S1: Where does he work S2: He works at sea …2.完成“Write and discuss”部分的任务。教师先引导学生对例子进行分析,然后让学生独立完成填空练习,教师以问答的形式核对答案,并讨论其他工作及工作地点。T: What does Ann do Ss: She is a scientist.T: Where does she work Ss: She works in a university.Step 4: Homework向自己的朋友介绍自己父母及了解的亲戚的职业和工作地点。板书设计:Unit 5 What does he do Part B: Let's learn & Write and discussFisherman scientist pilot coachWhere does she work She works at a university.教学反思:本课时主要学习表示职业的单词,在学习单词的过程中,教师通过回顾知识点、展示图片和视频的方式让学生对学习单词产生兴趣,同时单词的拆分更加有助于学生对单词的记忆。拓展延伸部分也是对重点句型的巩固,同时让学生了解各种不同的工作,让学生了解一切职业平等。Part B 第三课时Read and write教学目标:1.能读懂短文,并能理解短文的内容。2.能在读懂短文的基础上,完成课文的相关练习。3.能掌握句子在发音上的停顿技巧。4.提高阅读能力,掌握阅读技巧,培养良好的阅读习惯。教学重点:理解短文,正确完成相应的练习。教学难点:能在阅读训练中提高阅读能力;掌握句子在发音上的停顿技巧。教学准备:单词卡片、教学光盘教学过程:Step 1: Warm-up1.利用课件展示各种职业的图片,让学生开火车说出各种职业,或者出示单词卡片让学生反应其表示的职业,如:factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer, fisherman, scientist, pilot, coach。2.师生问答,练习重点句型:T: What does your mother do S1: She is a businesswoman.T: Where does she work S1: She works in a company.T: How does she go to work S1: She goes to work by car.Step 2: Presentation1. List five pare with your partner. How many different jobs are there in both lists?2.引导学生阅读“Read and write”部分,并思考找出“What does Hu Bin/Sarah/Robin like ”让学生用快速阅读的方法从短文中找出答案,并填入表格,核对答案。3.用对话的形式帮助学生理解单词,如:If you like science, you can be a scientist.(帮助理解“if”)If you like sports, you can be a coach, a sports reporter, or a PE teacher.帮助学生理解“reporter”,可运用肢体语言解释。If you can type quickly, you can be a secretary.(帮助理解“type, quickly”)4.一边播放“Read and write”的录音,一边让学生结合课后问题,理解课文,找出每个人的喜好以及工作地点,想从事的职业,填入课文标题,并相互讨论课文难以理解的句子,无法理解的时候,教师集中解答疑难。Step 3:Consolidation and extension1.教师以问答的形式示范和学生的对话,如:T: What does your father do S1: He is a businessman.T: Where does he work S1: He works in an office.2.学生自由朗读“Tips for pronunciation”中的句子,然后同桌互读并交流需要注意的问题。播放光盘,对比区分发音,老师引导停顿的地方,再次播放光盘,跟读、学习并注意停顿的地方,找学生上台诵读并评论。3.课堂小练习:翻译。(1)If you can type quickly, you can be a secretary.如果你打字快,你可以成为一名秘书。(2)If you like science, you can be a scientist.如果你喜欢科学,你可以成为一名科学家。Step 4: Homework查阅资料,了解更多的职业信息。板书设计:Unit 5 What does he do Part B: Read and writeIf reporter use type quicklyIf you like sports, you can be a coach, a sports reporter, or a PE teacher.If you can type quickly, you can be a secretary.If you like science, you can be a scientist.教学反思:本课时以阅读为主,让学生了解如何根据短文的内容完成练习,找到关键信息,教师可以细化目标,引导学生查找。通过口语交际帮助理解重点句子和关键词的意思,大大降低了阅读的难度。Part B 第四课时Let's check & Let's wrap it up教学目标:1.能听懂“Let's check”部分的听力,并完成练习。2.能完成“Let's wrap it up”部分的练习,完成填空。3.能灵活运用本单元所学知识,提高语言综合运用能力。教学重点:正确完成本课时的练习。教学难点:能灵活运用本单元所学知识,提高语言综合运用能力。教学准备:教学光盘、单词卡片教学过程:Step 1: Warm-up1.播放本单元歌曲“What do you want to do ”学生跟唱,活跃气氛。2.教师拿出单词卡片,随便抽取本单元单词,与学生对话:T: What does he/she do S: He/She is a/an….T: Where does he/she work S: He/She works in/at…T: How does he/she go to work S: He/She goes to work…Step 2: Presentation1.先引导学生观察图片并阅读问题,让学生了解所要听的话题,带着问题去听;播放听力,让学生完成连线练习;核对答案,并再次播放听力,完成问答练习。2.完成“Let's wrap it up”部分练习。首先引导学生完成填空练习,引导学生该怎样提问(注意区分what, how, where),并核对答案,指导提问技巧,分组提问,教师可以先示范提问,如:S1: Mary has a hat.T: Sorry, I didn't hear you.
