一、Listen to the CD and read after it. Try to read aloud the following words and sentences.

Do you have ( a ) camera Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
Is this your game Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.
Are these your lunchboxes Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.
Whose game is this It’s their game.
Whose cameras are these They are our cameras.
Group leaders check, then feed back. Choose one or two group to read the words and sentences.
Step3: lead in.
1. Last month, we have learned something about school events. How many school events do you remember (Choose one or two students to answer.) Today we will learn something about another school event. That is ‘School outing’. (Write the title on the blackboard)

You are students. You come to school from Monday to Friday. What do you need to bring to school Please check with your partners with ‘Excuse me. Do you have your …’.( pair work)
2. Tim is going on a school outing tomorrow. What does he need to take How does Tim’s mother help him check the items ( group work and feed back)
3. Can you use ‘ This is his…’ and ‘ These are his…’ to talk about items (pre-learning sheet, Task 3)
Pay attention to the words: paper, money, sunglasses.
4. Play a guessing game about the new words.
5. Present and practice ‘Is this your … Are these your … ’
Yesterday I borrowed many things from you. Now I want to give them back to you. But I don’t know who their owner is exactly. ‘Excuse me. Is this your … Are these your … ’ ( First I makes a model. Then students stand up and go around for helping me to find their owners.)
6. Finish B2 and B3.
7. Present and practice ‘Whose … is this It’s … Whose … are these They are …’
Some students can’t find the owners. Ask them to come to the blackboard, show the things that they hold. I ask the other students what they should do. Try to make the other students say out ‘ Whose … is this ’ or ‘ Whose … are these ’ . Then ask the students who are in the front to show the things and ask ‘ Whose … is this ’ or ‘ Whose … are these ’.
8. Distinguish ‘Mary and Tom’s ’ and ‘Mary’s and Tom’s ’.
Step5: Consolidation
1. Using Do / Whose / Be to ask and get information.
2. Pay attention to the words: paper, money, sunglasses, ‘Mary and Tom’s ’ and ‘Mary’s and Tom’s ’.
3. Have a test.
