1. 本次课堂教学旨在符合新课标提出的要求，试图让学生成为课堂的主体，教师发挥指导性作用，通过让学生发挥主观能动性让他们更好地参与课堂学习更好的吸收教师的教学内容和完成教学目的。
2. 本次课堂较好的运用了多媒体教学，将学生一步步的引入到教师设计的教学活动当中，学生也通过积极的配合参与获得了更多更好的学习机会。本次课堂活动较为成功的是每一步的教学目的都是比较清晰的，要求学生做什么，该如何做到，做到的该是什么样的状态都是一目了然的。
3. 课堂学习活动中，学生能够在教师的课堂设计之外有所发挥，一定程度上让课堂学习得到升华，这是可以继续发扬的地方。
4. 本次课堂教学也有需要改进的地方，教师在教学过程中还可以让学生发挥更大的自主性，让他们更多地去参与教学活动，从而以学促教，教学相长。
5. 本次课堂教学的活动还有可以改进的地方，比如可以通过信件的实物展示等形式让学生更加直观的了解课堂教学内容，活动形式可以更加丰富。
6. 本次课堂教学安排内容丰富紧凑，一定程度上也显得有的急促，可以根据情况进行删减。
7. 通过本次课堂教学，我更加清楚地知道了学生之所需，也更好地懂得了新课标的主旨和内涵，相信通过不断地学习和教学，我能够取得更大的进步

Ask some of the Ss to talk about the structure of a letter.
List out the structure of writing a letter
Show the students a model of a letter to explain what has already been taught.
Step3 Main body of a letter(how to make sentences beautiful)
Ⅰshow the Ss examples of different sentences and teach them which is better and which is best through comparison.(totally 4 groups of examples)

1. Proper use of words

1. Use non-predicative to make sentences conciser
2. Use more structures to make sentences more complicated
3. Use difficult words and phrases
Step 5 Practice makes perfect(one group for one sentence)

Step 6 Performance
Students’ time to show what they have written down and finally show them the possible version prepared before hand.

Introduction of Beijing Hutongs
Dear James,
I am glad to receive your letter, in which you ask me some information of Beijing Hutongs, now I would like to share what I know with you.
The majority of Beijing’s Hutongs, which made it easy for the emperors to rule the people and keep an eye on their movements, were built during the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, many Hutongs were seriously destroyed due to some political and economical reasons. After the People’s Republic of China was founded, the situation was greatly improved.
The Hutongs connect not only the houses where people live but also people’s lives. Nowadays, more and more foreigners come to visit the Hutongs, hoping to experience the traditional Beijing.
I would like to receive you as my honorable guest here in Beijing, please let me know if it is possible. Please write back soon.
