A friend sent these books and CDs to us. 一个朋友给我们寄（来）了这些书和光盘。
“寄/发送某物给某人”的表达
固定结构：send sth to sb
用法：send sth to sb 意为“寄/发送某物给某人”，也可转换成 send sb sth。sent 是 send 的过去式。
例句：Yesterday my mother sent a letter to me. =Yesterday my mother sent me a letter. 昨天我的妈妈寄给我了一封信。

These are all books about science. 这些都是关于科学的书。
用法：all指“三个或三个以上都”，修饰作主语的名词时，可放在名词或行为动词之前，但要放在be动词、助动词或情态动词之后。
例句：They are all students. 他们都是学生。
知识拓展；both是指“两者都”，在句子中的位置和all相同。

固定句型：Let+第一人称代词的宾格+动词原形+其他.
用法：此句型表示“让我（我们）……”。let’s=let us，后接动词原形。

（1）Let+第一人称代词的宾格+not+动词原形+其他.
Let’s not say anything about it. 对于这件事，咱们什么也不要说。
（2）Don’t let+第三人称代词的宾格/名词+动词原形+其他.
Don’t let them play with fire. 别让他们玩火。
