There are two small parts in Read and write. They are Read & Write. It requires students can understand and read the small story about Robin. It also requires students can write the right answers of the exercises at the end of the story.
二、教学目标：
1. Let the students can understand and read the story.
2. Let the students can use the sentence pattern: I’m looking at a / an… I’m … like a / an….
3. Let the students learn more new words and expressions: take photos run away afraid naughty
三、重点、难点分析：
重点：1. Let the students know the two different meaning of “like”.
2. Let the students can use the sentence pattern: I’m looking at a / an… I’m … like a / an…
难点： 1. Let the students learn more new words and expressions: take photos run away afraid naughty
2. Let the students read the small story and act it out.

教学设计：
一、Pre-reading:
Step 1: Greeting and named group.
Step 2: Look at the cover, free talk about “What can you see
二、While-reading:
The first paragraph:
1. Listen to the first paragraph and read by themselves and finish the mind map.
2. Check the answers together.
3. Ask one or two students to read the first paragraph.
The second paragraph（bear）:
1. Read the second paragraph and find out the key words.
2. Listen to the tape.
3. Show them the first important sentence: I’m looking at a bear. I’m dancing like a bear.
The third paragraph（rabbit）:
1. Listen to the third paragraph and get the answer: What are the rabbits eating They are eating _____.
2. Check the answer and ask the students read the passage in groups.
3. Show them the second sentence: I’m looking at the rabbits. I’m eating like a rabbit.
The fourth paragraph（tiger）:
1. Look and say.
2. Read the fourth paragraph, and finish the mind map.
3. Check the answer.
4. Learn two new words: away run away; afraid afraid of
5. Listen to the tape.
6. Ask two students to read.
The fifth paragraph（elephant）:
1. Read the passage and then listen to the tape.
2. Try to find the key sentences.
3. Look and say.
4. Ask two or more students to act it out“walking & drinking water”
The sixth paragraph（monkey）：
1. Listen and answer
2. Read the passage one by one in group.
The seventh paragraph（bird）
1. Listen and guess.
2. Listen and finish the mind map.
3. Check the answers.
三、Post-reading
The seventh paragraph
1. Look and answer: Where is Sarah Are there any fish in the river
2. Listen to the tape.
3. Read the whole story together.
4. Answer the questions and check the answers.
Extension:
1. Show four other animals for the students.
2. Choose and act.
3. “Be kind, be gentle” to animals and friends, parents.
4. Homework: Draw a picture of animals and use the sentence pattern: I’m looking at a / an… I’m… like a / an ...
