用现在进行时讲述正在发生的事情。 例如:The apples are falling down the stairs. 使用“can”谈论能力和向他人提供帮助的情况:Can he help Yes, he can. / No, he can’t.
教学过程
Step 1 Warmer
1. Lead－in
上课了,老师匆忙的进入教室,不料手中的课本、粉笔等物品跌落到了地上,老师说:“Oh, my dear. My books are falling. The chalk is falling, too. Who can help me ”老师边说边走向坐在前排的学生向他们寻求帮助:“Can you help me ”请两到三位学生帮忙,引导学生说:“Sorry, I can’t./Yes, I can.”[]
2. Greetings
T: Good morning , everyone .Nice to meet you .
S: Good morning , teacher . Nice to meet you , too.
3. Say a chant.
4. Let’s do some revisions .
出示22页活动4.You can write the answer, then act out in your group.
Step 2 Learn new lesson
1.引出课题。出示课文第二部分的图片,老师说:“Look at this picture, what is happening The women’s things are falling .Who can help her Today let’s learn : Module 4 Unit 2 The apples are falling down the stairs.”(老师同时板书课题,并领读课题。)
2.教学新单词。领读课题时一并教授新单词:stairs并翻译出课题。然后回到展示的图片引导学生说:“The apples are falling down the stairs.最后问学生:“这个场景乱不乱啊 ”再引出单词mess和What a mess!
3.播放第二部分课文动画,初步感知课文。(不要让学生打开书,看动画,初步理解课文大意。)
4.出示第二部分课文内容,讲解文中重点句子，引出现在进行时态。再听录音并跟读。然后小组内读课文并尝试背诵。
5.完成第三部分练习。老师问:“知道了女士所面临的困难,Who can help the woman ”引出Part 3的学习。
首先,出示第三部分练习题并播放录音,在录音播放的同时教师随录音的进度指出图片中谁在说话,帮助学生理解录音。
接着,再听第二遍让学生进一步理解对话,并完成练习。
最后,老师给出答案。老师可以问:“Can she help /Can he help ”同时,引导学生说出:No, she can’t. She is on the phone. /Yes , he can. He can pick up the apples./Yes, he can. He can wash the apples. /Yes, she can .She can clean the floor.
Step 3 Relax and practise
1. 活动一 出示“Can you guess What am I doing ”引出练习活动
教师首先模范踢足球的动作,同时问:“What am I doing ” 引导学生说:“You are playing football ./Are you playing football ”然后教师给予肯定或否定回答。在学生理解了练习后,请学生上台模范动作,其他学生猜,以此来练习现在进行时。[
2. 活动二 出示书中“What is he/she doing ”规则：两人一组，一人做动作，一人手拿 “话筒”进行现场播报。
3. 活动三 Write a task that you can’t do alone. Ask your friend for help. 小组合作，四人一组，每个成员写下一项自己不能单独完成的任务并请求其他成员帮忙完成。
