I’m Shari. I have no vision (视力) at all out of one eye, and only a little out of the other one. When you can see something at 60 metres, I can only see it at 2 metres. I don’t have much vision, but it’s OK!
I can ride a bike and a scooter (滑板车) if I have a friend with me. I taught myself to ride a bike. I learned on a very little bike, so it didn’t hurt too much when I fell down. The scooter was a Christmas gift when I was 7. When I first rode it, I fell off into one of the desks in my house. That really hurt!
My friends are OK about my vision. Next year I’m going to Avonside Girls’ High School. Lots of my friends are going there, too. I’m looking forward to it! They already have two students like me at the school. In the first year I will learn German for a full year. I will learn history for half a year, and I hope to learn Braille (布拉耶盲字) for the other half year, because I have to continue with my Braille lessons.
