1. I’m having a great time visiting my aunt in Canada. 我正在加拿大看望我的姑妈，我玩得很开心。
visit v. 拜访；参观
visit常用结构：
visit+人 拜访某人
visit+地点 参观某地
Do you want to visit Mr. Green 你想拜访格林先生吗？
I’m happy to visit your school. 我很高兴参观你们的学校。
【拓展延伸】（1）visit也可作名词,意为“访问;参观; 拜访”,常构成短语:
play/make a visit to... 参观或访问……
be on a visit to... 正参观/访问……之中
go on a visit 去访问,去参观
If you have time, pay a visit to our new library. 如果你有时间，参观一下我们的新图书馆吧。
（2）visitor 为名词，意为“游客，参观者”。

have a great time (in) doing sth. 享受做某事、喜欢做某事、玩得愉快 相当于have fun (in) doing sth.

附： have a difficult / hard time (in) doing sth.很吃力 / 很费力地做某事
He is ill in bed for nearly a month, so he has a hard time passing the exam.

5. I want to call you but my phone isn’t working, so I’m writing to you.
我想给你打电话，但电话信号不好，所以我就给你写信了。
1) work 用来表示仪器、设备的“运作；运行；工作”。这种情况下，若用于否定结构，大多表示某一物件“坏掉了”或“不运作了”。例如：
The clock isn’t working now.现在钟停掉了。
Can I come to your house this evening and watch the NBA game with you My TV doesn’t work.
我能今晚来你家跟你一起看NBA比赛吗？我家电视坏了。
2) call sb.意为“给某人打电话”，call此处作动词，call sb. at…意为“拨打……号码找某人”
例：抱歉这么晚打电话给你。 Sorry to call you so late.
3) write to sb.意为“给某人写信”， 其反义短语为hear from sb.或get a letter from sb.，意为“收到某人的来信”。
例：他每周都给我写信。 He writes to me every week.
6. I’m so happy to see them again.我很高兴再次看到他们。
be happy to do sth.意为“高兴做某事”,属于“be +adj.+ to do sth.”结构。
e.g.He is happy to pass the test.
属于“be +adj.+to do sth.”结构的常见短语:
be sorry to do sth. 抱歉做某事
be glad to do sth. 高兴做某事
7. My family and I are on a vacation in the mountains.我和我的家人正在山里度假。
on a vacation意为“在度假”,还可表达为on vacation。
vacation的相关短语还有:
