Opening Page is the leading-in of this unit, where students are able to acquire the general knowledge of the theme in this unit through the theme picture, the quote from World Heritage Centre, learning objectives and two questions. (Use a mind map to organize students' ideas) ·Ask students to read and explain the quote from the World Heritage Centre on the opening page.·Present students with the listening text transcripts and explain the language points if necessary. Step 5 Speaking ·Ask students to work in pairs to discuss the following questions: Would you like to take part in a project like this Why or why not Could you think of more ways to protect cultural heritage ·Invite students to present their ideas about the project on cultural heritage protection in the form of an interview. Step 6 Pronunciation ·Ask students to listen and tick the words that they hear and check their answers with their partner. ·Ask students to listen to and read the sentences, and remind them to pay attention to the underlined words. ·Ask students to listen and repeat the word groups and brainstorm more consonant clusters.
