一、教学目标
1.能听懂、会说、认读、会写card, rose, gift, a box of chocolates, restaurant, delicious；
2.能用“What will you do for your mother I’ll/We’ll + 动原”表达自己怎样给妈妈过母亲节。
二、学情分析
同学们在Unit 5中已经学过节日日期的表达法，本课的主题正好是“母亲节”，于是用学过句型“When’s + 节日 It’s on the …of ….”引出本课的主题“When’s Mother’s Day It’s on the second Sunday of May.”。通过简单介绍母亲节的由来，和对母亲的诠释，让同学感恩母亲,并用实际行动回报母亲，为后续重点句型“What will you do for your mother I’ll/We’ll +动原”的教学做好铺垫。
三、重点难点
1. 能听懂、会说、认读、会写card, rose, gift, a box of chocolates, restaurant, delicious；
2. 能听懂、会说词组make a beautiful card, a box of chocolates, at restaurant, cook a delicious dinner。
3. 能用“What will you do for your mother I’ll/We’ll + 动原”表达自己怎样给妈妈过母亲节。

2.Watch the video and fill in the chart with teammates.

3.New words and sentences.
Show the answers and teach the new words and the new sentences.
