Imagine climbing a mountain and getting half way up and saying to yourself, “You know what, I’m going to climb back down and finish this later.”
____1____ We have projects that sit waiting to be completed. Some people start college but never graduate. We have books that we never finish reading. ____2____ Many people are great at beginning things but can’t seem to finish strong.

Not finishing not only causes us to stop making progress but also we find it harder whenever we do decide to start again. Thus, no more sore muscles. Well, when I take some time off I fear starting again. ____4____
Strong finishers are able to focus on getting the best result from anything that they start. So how do we know that we are a strong finisher Along with the huge feeling of accomplishment, other people will begin to notice the change. ___5___ They will have no choice but to recognize our strong finishing ability. We will be rewarded with more trust from them.

The following is my advice to him:
____7____ But unfortunately, that feeling is rarely permanent. There will always be someone out there who is just a little better than you. And the same goes for that person. You can use this motivation to keep working hard and get back on top.
As an athlete, I’m sure you are familiar with competition. Having a healthy competitive spirit is what motivates people to constantly try to be better. ____8____
Further more, as a team member, you must be aware that a teammate’s victory is also yours. Your role on a team is not to outshine everyone you play with. It’s to work together to be successful.
Working as a team means celebrating victories and facing losses together. I am sure this is much harder than it sounds. But try as hard as you can to brush it off and work harder. It is not just related to your own athletic skills, but all of the characteristics that make someone a strong leader. ____9____ You should be the person that holds others up when it’s their turn.
It isn’t easy to simply ignore the feeling of jealousy. ____10____ But remember that you can be that person that people look up to on and off the court by being a good leader and accepting when maybe that means being second best.

31.
根据上文“All of us have moments when we say to ourselves, “I can’t do this anymore.”(我们每个人都有对自己说过:“我不能再这样下去了。”)”
33.
根据上文“If experiencing burnout, you should feel that you are not good enough in any way. Often, when someone has reached this point, it’s because there is too much on their plate.(如果经历过倦怠,你应该觉得自己在任何方面都不够好。
34.
根据上文“Sometimes people are quick to brush off feelings of “I can’t do this anymore,” thinking that they should try to toughen up or push themselves through.(有时候,人们很快就会忘记“我不能再这样做了”的感觉,认为他们应该努力坚强起来或强迫自己完成任务)”以及后文“If left unaddressed, it can have consequences for your emotional, physical and mental health.(如果置之不理,它会对你的情绪、身体和心理健康产生影响)”可知,上文提到人们选择忘记自己的倦怠状态,后文则提到置之不理的不良影响,可知本句与上文构成转折,指出倦怠真实存在,无法无视。
35.
根据后文“On the contrary, it is a sign of strength. Most of all, you deserve to feel confident, well, and whole. Try not to get discouraged. So one of the first things you can do to address burnout is to assess your life responsibilities and see if there is anything that can be changed. Make one small change today. Small changes add up and have a big impact on how you feel.(相反,它是力量的象征。
