Students will learn more much about plants, gardening andagriculture. They will consider why these are important to us. Besides, the grammarof this unit is word building, students will learn to identify words that can be both nouns and verb, meanwhile, they have to know how to use them correctly, students will grow the vocabularies by this way.II. Analysize of students.Students in this area is special, they have to learn 3 languages at the same time, with different language backgrounds,there is some difficulties for us to understand each other, especially some terms, and they started learn English from grade 7, so they still haven’t formed better ways to learn English.There are many problems exist in students’ learning. Many students even aren’t willing to read follow teachers. But some students are equipped with basic English knowledge, they can’t use English flexibility. So, teacher need use proper ways to guide students.III.Teaching aims1. Now can you guess what we will learn today We will learn about Lesson 12 to learn how to describe a plant’s growing process.Step3:Presentation1.Words1) The teacher will use a real plant as well as pictures to guide students to learn the new words,such as, stem, leaves...2)Then teacher will teach students the pronunciation of the new words,next ask students to practise by themselves.3)Invite some students to read.4)Read as a class.2.TextT: First let’s listen to the text, meanwhile you have to think about it” what happened to Danny’s plants ”We will listen it for twice. But in fact , I forgot to let students to practise reading after listening. What’s more, I should have more students to practising speaking, but I only invited one students to stand on the stage, I should give more students more chances to speak. The exercise in class is not enough as well.I spent to much time on words learning which caused I don’t have enough time to practise.
