1. 定义：表示发生在过去的事情或存在的状态。
我昨天去了公园。
I went to the park yesterday.

2. 标志词：yesterday, just now,ago, this morning, when I was young,last等
我昨天去了动物园。
I went to the zoo yesterday.
我上个月去了北京。
I went to Beijing last month.
我小时候很可爱。
I was very cute when I was young.

3.构成：主语+动词过去时+其他
如：My earphones were on the ground just now.
我的耳机刚刚还在呢。
He got up very early yesterday morning.
他昨天早上起得很早。

4. 动词→动词过去式变化规律
1）直接加-ed
eg. walk--walked ；
clean—cleaned;
milk—milked;
play—played

2）以字母e结尾的，加- d,
eg. live--lived ;
dance—danced;
taste—tasted

3）以辅音字母加y结尾的，变y为i加-ed

eg. hurry—hurried;
study—studied;
carry—carried

4）以辅音字母+元音字母+辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节，双写末尾辅音字母加-ed
eg. stop—stopped;
jog—jogged

5. 不规则的
am,is—was; are—were;
do,does—did; have,has—had;

sit—sat; see—saw; get—got;
tell—told; run—ran;
come—came; steal—stole;

6. 否定句
1）be动词过去式后直接加not

肯定句：I was in Chengdu last year.
否定句：I was not in Chengdu last year.

2) 当实义动词时，加助动词didn't后跟动词原形
肯定句：I telephoned my parents yesterday.
否定句：I didn't telephone my parents yesterday.

7. 疑问句
1) 动词be过去式提前
肯定句：I was in Chengdu last year.
一般疑问句：Were you in Chengdu last year
一二人称要互换！

2) 当是实义动词时,将助动词did 放在前面，后跟主语和动词原形
肯定句：I telephoned my parents yesterday.
一般疑问句：Did you telephone your parents yesterday
