Step 1 Lead-in
Free talk.
Show the students a class picture and talk about it with the whole class.
T: Look! What’s this
Ss: It’s a picture.
T: Yes, it’s a class picture. There’s a teacher and many students. Can you find the teacher
Ss: Yes. He’s in the first row.
T: Do you know how to make a class picture We’ll learn it in this lesson.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Teach the new words perform, agree, advise, glue and phrases agree with, advise…to do…,be up to by discussing the pictures.
T: Look at the pictures. This is Li Mei. What’s she doing
Ss: She is dancing.
T: And this is Wang Ming. What’s he doing
Ss: He’s playing the erhu and singing.
T: Li Mei and Wang Ming are performing. Which picture do you like
S1: I like…
T: Yes. I agree with you. I advise you to choose it for the class picture. Well, it’s up to you.
S1: Sure. I like it, too.
T: OK! Let’s glue it on the paper.
2. Get the class to remember the new words and expressions.
Step 3 Practice
Play a cross puzzle.
Get the class to fill in the blanks according to the clues.

3. Get the class to read the whole dialogue and fill in the blanks.

Step 6 Reading and introducing
1. Get the class to read the dialogue following the recording.
2. Get the class to introduce the pictures of Li Ming/Wang Mei to the class.

agree v. 同意。反义词为disagree(不同意)。agree的常见结构有:
①agree with sb. /what sb. said同意某人(的看法或建议)/某人的话
I agree with them. 我同意他们的意见。
I agree with what you said. 我同意你所说的。
②agree to + 计划/提议/安排 同意某项计划/提议/安排
I agree to his plan. 我同意他的计划。
③agree on+需协商的东西 就……达成一致
They agreed on the time and money at last.
