Ask the students the following questions: (1)Do you often go to the cinema (2)Which films have you watched (3)What is your favourite film 2. Show them some pictures of films and talk about them. Step 5 Grammar so, neither引导的倒装句 so, neither位于分句或句子的开头时,句子通常用部分倒装。这种结构表示前面所说的情况适用于另一个人/物。so引导的倒装句表示肯定,意为“……也是”,neither引导的倒装句表示否定,意为“……也不是”。 1. So+be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语. 某人也是(某种情况)。 此结构常用于对肯定句的回应。 —I’m interested in playing football. 我对踢足球感兴趣。 —So am I. 我也是。 —They went shopping last week. 他们上周去购物了。 —So did we. 我们也去了。 —I have been to Shanghai. 我去过上海。 —So has she. 她也去过。 2. Neither+be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语. 某人也不是(某种情况)。 此结构用于对否定句的回应。 —She is not pleased with her studies. 她对自己的学业不满意。 —Neither am I. 我也不满意。 —Amy has never been to Beijing. 艾米从未去过北京。 —Neither has my brother. 我哥哥也没去过。 【注意】 ①上文中含有be动词或情态动词时,so, neither开头的倒装句直接用相应的be动词或情态动词;上文中只含有行为动词时,倒装句则用相应的助动词do, does, did构成; ②so, neither开头的倒装句时态通常要与上文—致; ③so, neither开头的倒装句中的助动词或be动词的单复数取决于句末主语的单复数; ④“so+主语+be动词/助动词/情态动词.”意为“的确如此”。 —It’s so cold today. 今天如此冷。 —So it is. 的确如此。 Step 6 Language points 1. What about ‘Police Story’ 去看《警察故事》(这部电影)怎么样? What about... = How about… ……怎么样? 常用来征求对方的意见、提出建议或询问消息。about在此用作介词,后面跟名词、代词宾格、名词性物主代词或动词-ing形式。 What about the food in that city 那个城市的食物如何? What/How about seeing ‘Swan Lake’ 看《天鹅湖》怎么样? 2. It’s an action film and it’s very exciting. 它是部动作片,非常刺激。 辨析:exciting与excited (1)exciting令人激动的,常用来说明或修饰事物,主语通常是事物。 (2)excited(感到) 激动的,常用来说明人的感受,具有被动及完成的含义。 The travel is very exciting. 这次旅行令人激动。 We were excited about their coming. 我们对他们的到来感到很兴奋。 3. Shall we see ‘Swan Lake’ then 那么我们看《天鹅湖》好吗? (1)Shall we/I do sth. 我(们)做某事好吗? 是用来提出建议的一种方式。 常用的肯定回答:Good idea. /Sounds good. /All right. 常用的否定回答:Sorry. /I’m afraid not. 【注意】shall只和第一人称连用。 (2)then在句中作副词,意为“那么”。 If you’re all sitting comfortably, then I’ll begin. 如果你们都坐好了,那么我就开始了。 Step 7 Homework 1.
