设计说明 先让学生设想自己在购物中心的场景:要买什么,在哪儿买。结合图片、例句讲解生词。结合阳光购物中心的信息栏,学生两人一组谈论各个楼层能够买到的物品,熟悉购物相关的表达。重点学习对话,借助对话和信息栏中的信息充分调动学生的积极性,深入学习“Where will we go to buy... ”“We’ll go to...”这些表达。接下来,对课堂内容进行拓展,利用练习书上的活动,操练有关购物的表达。讲解重要的知识点,让学生具备一定的知识储备。本节课依托教材,侧重语言输出,提高了英语课堂的教学效果。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 掌握本课节新词汇:kid, fashion, super, carpet 用特殊疑问句询问具体的信息;用一般将来时谈论将来的动作。 2. 能力目标 能够熟练说出购买物品的商店;能够听懂有关购物意愿的对话。 3. 情感目标 通过生活情境化的课堂教学,模拟训练购物技能,最终培养实际的购物能力。 重点难点 重点:掌握本课节新词汇;用特殊疑问句询问具体的信息;用一般将来时谈论将来的动作。 难点:能够熟练说出购买物品的商店;能够听懂有关购物意愿的对话。 教学准备 PPT课件 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warm up 1. Let the students think: Now, you are in a shopping centre. What do you need to buy Where can you buy it/them 2. Ask some students to share their ideas. Step 2 Presentation 1. Present some new words: kid, fashion, super, carpet. They are four happy kids. kid n. 小孩 There are many beautiful clothes in the FASHION STORE. I like buying clothes here. fashion n. 时尚;流行 super adj. 超级的 Do you think that the dinosaur have super power carpet n. 地毯 2. Let the students read the words for a few minutes. kid n. 小孩 fashion n. 时尚;流行 super adj. 超级的 carpet n. 地毯
Step 3 Talk 1. Ask the students to work in pairs and look at the following information. 2. Let them talk like this: S1: What shops can you find on the ground/first/second/third floor S2: We can find...on the _________ floor. 3. Then show them a picture and instruct them to talk like this: S1: Where can we find computers S2: You can find them in Computer World. S1: Which floor is it on S2: It’s on the third floor. 4. Then let them have a free talk. S1: Where _______ S2: You can find _______. S1: Which floor _______ S2: It’s _______. Step 4 Look and read 1. Give the students time to look at the information board. 2. Ask random questions: e. g. Where can you find furniture to elicit: At City Furniture. Ask: Which floor is it on to elicit: It’s on the ground floor. 3. Play the recording of the dialogue. The students follow in their books. Alice: Where will we go to buy the jeans Mrs Wang: We’ll go to Girls’ Fashion and Cool Clothes. Alice: Where will we go to buy the computer book Mrs Wang: We’ll go to Tommy’s Books and Computer World. Tom: Will we go to Fun Videos Mrs Wang: No, we won’t. We don’t need to buy anything there.
4. In groups of three, students practice the dialogue. Select groups to read out the dialogue. Step 5 Ask and answer The students practice in groups of three. Select groups to say one of their dialogues. T: Read the table on page 21. You are Tom, Alice and Mrs Wang. Ask and answer questions about where you will go shopping. S1: Where will we go to buy the _____ S2: We’ll go to _____ (, _____ and _____ ). S3: Will we go to _____ S2: No, we won’t. We don’t need to buy anything there. Step 6 Read, think and write Workbook 7B, page 26 1. In pairs, students talk about the things they need to buy in Sunny Shopping Centre. 2. The students write their shopping lists. 3. Select individual students to say the sentences about one of their items. 4. The students write their sentences. Select individual students to read out their sentences about one item in their lists. Step 7 Language points 1. Girls’ Fashion少女时装店 此处Girls’ Fashion是商店的名称。 fashion是名词,意为“时装;时尚,流行”。常用短语:in fashion“流行”; out of fashion“过时”。 Do you like the fashion show 你喜欢这场时装表演吗? Jeans are still in fashion. 牛仔裤仍然流行。 2. —Alice, do you like the jeans with the yellow belt or the ones with the blue belt 艾丽斯,你喜欢配黄色皮带的牛仔裤呢,还是配蓝色皮带的(牛仔裤)? —I like the ones with the blue belt. 我喜欢配蓝色皮带的(牛仔裤)。 (1)选择疑问句 此句为一般疑问句式的选择疑问句,即向对方提出两种或两种以上的情况、让对方做出选择的疑问句。它的基本结构是:一般疑问句+or+一般疑问句(一般省略与前一个一般疑问句相同的部分)。回答时,不用yes或no,而是选择其中一种情况回答。 —Are you a doctor or (are you) a teacher 你是医生还是教师? —I’m a teacher. 我是一名老师。 【拓展】特殊疑问句式的选择疑问句结构:特殊疑问句+A+ or +B When will you leave, today or tomorrow 你什么时间离开,今天还是明天? (2)ones是代词,是one的复数形式,代替前面提到过的某个可数名词的复数形式。本句中ones指代jeans,所以要用复数。one常用于指上文中出现的同类事物中的一个。 Do you like the big bags or the small ones 你喜欢大包还是小包? This book is very interesting. That one is boring. 这本书很有趣。那本书很无聊。 Step 8 Homework 1. Preview “Writing: The clothes I like”. 2.
