Analysis：
The central topic of this section is talking about the weather and involves two main language functions：1. Use the sentence pattern “How’s the weather ” and some adjectives to describe the weather conditions; 2. Continue to use the present continuous tense to describe people's immediate activities.
This section focuses on the special question that ask about the weather, adjectives to describe the weather, and weather-related activities. The difficulty is the correct use of the present continuous "be" and "v.-ing". The communication strategy of this unit is to promote communication by talking about the weather.
Students analysis：
Grade 7 students are lively and active because of their young age, they like to think visually and are interested in games, competitions and other activities. Grade 7 is the basic stage of Learning English, so the curriculum should focus on stimulating and maintaining students' interest in learning English. Therefore, flexible and diverse teaching methods should be adopted in classroom design to attract students' attention. Meanwhile, classroom feedback should be based on praise and encouragement to create opportunities for students to speak English.

Stage 1: Leads in (2mins) Ask students “how’s the weather today ” Answer the teacher's question. Attract students attention and lead in the class.
Stage 2.1: Vocabulary and sentence patterns of the activities: teaching. (8 mins) Introduce some vocabularies and sentence patterns about the weather. The students follow the teacher and take notes. Check the students' vocabulary and teach new words.
Stage 2.2: Vocabulary and sentence patterns of the activities: practice. mins) Ask students to fill in the blanks with the right forms of the words that learned in stage 2. Show the sentence pattern and ask students to make a dialogue. Fill in the blanks in the exercises. Use the sentence pattern to make dialogues. Stage 3.1: Listening and speaking practice. (5 mins) Play the recording and ask the students to number the pictures. Play the recording again and ask the students to make a dialogue according to their answers. Listen to the tape and number the pictures. Listen again and make a dialogue. Lead in the next part and enhance students’ listening competence; Teach students the present continuous tense and practice speaking.
Stage 3.2: Reading practice. (5 mins) Ask the students to read the conversation in the textbook and answer the questions. Analyze the conversation in the textbook.
