【实战演练】
A boulder(巨石), as big as a house. That`s how the guidebook described Giant Rock. Dad said it arrived here millions of years ago. I was finally going to see it, in snowshoes, with my two older cousins, my dad, and my uncle Don. I`d been snowshoeing before, and I liked the adventure of hiking through deep snow.
At the parking area, after putting on our snowshoes, we studied the map. Due to the geographical location, electrical devices were inaccessible here. The map was our only guide. "We start here," Dad said, "on the red trail(小路). Then we turn left onto the purple road. That`s where Giant Rock is." "Remember to stick together and don’t wander off, guys," Uncle Don said.
The trail ran uphill alongside a stone wall. It was easy to follow because red markers were nailed to the trees and the snow had been packed down by other hikers. At the top of the hill, we turned onto the purple trail. We settled into a pattern, with Dad and everyone else in front and me in the back, crunching(嘎吱嘎吱地踩) through the snow. I saw lots of animal tracks — mostly deer, squirrel, and rabbit prints. As the trail wound down, my cousin Andrew said what I’d been thinking: "Will we ever reach Giant Rock " My cousin Aiden smiled and turned to me, "Luke, do you think your dad invented this idea just to get us away from the TV for a while " I laughed. "You never know."
Finally, we climbed a hill and saw the massive boulder sitting alone in the forest. It really is as big as a house! My cousins and I high-fived each other and jogged until we stood at the base, breathless. Standing in the boulder’s broad shadow, I noticed the sun had sunk lower.
"Let’s head back," Dad said after a few minutes. "There will be several crossroads on the way back. Guys, keep up with the team." Soon we were crunch-crunch-crunching our way home. I was a little behind the group when we approached a crossroads. And I noticed a set of animal tracks I hadn’t recognized before, so I followed them for a closer look.
I looked up when I suddenly realized how quiet it had gotten. "Where is everyone " I shouted. Nothing. They couldn’t have gone far. I would catch up if I hurried. After a short walk, I came to the crossroads where I could turn left or go straight, but both trails had red markers. I turned to the left which looked familiar. As I strode, it got quieter and quieter. I worried I wandered off. Soon it might be too dark for me to tell what color the markers were. I had no flashlight and no phone. What if I couldn’t find my way back
As going worriedly, I heard voices, someone calling far away. Then I noticed the stone wall, the trail running alongside it. This had to be right. I rushed downhill with big steps. Then, the best sight ever: the parking area and my family! I shouted as I ran toward them. "Luke Are you OK " The voice of Dad was urgent. He shined a flashlight in my direction. I’d only been lost for minutes, but it had felt like a very long time. Now all I wanted was a bear hug from Dad and to make tracks for home.

第一篇:
One Friday afternoon, some of my classmates planned to take a hike in a jungle(丛林)including my friends Jake and Liam. They asked me if I would like to go with them.I love
outdoor activities,so I immediately said yes.
It was sunny the following morning.I was in a very good mood.I was so excited about
hiking since it was the first time that I had hiked with them.I ate a light breakfast. After
that,I hurriedly ran out of my house to meet them in the school playground.
The jungle where we were going was far from our school. It took about three hours to go
there by bus,but it wasn't a boring journey as we were all eager to hike. After we got off the
bus,we found a local guide to ensure our safety. The guide, whose name is Thomas, said
that he had hiked there lots of times and that he was familiar with the route. When we
arrived,Thomas told us never leave the group. He warned us that we would easily get lost
in the jungle if we walked alone. Then we began to hike.
There were various plants which we had never seen before. All of us were amazed at the
beauty of the scenery and the sounds of the creatures.Sadly, after hiking for about an hour,I
found that my watch on my wrist was gone.I realized that my watch had fallen off.It was a
gift from my grandma, and I loved it very much.Without thinking,I turned back and tried to
find my watch.Since I was the last one walking in the group, nobody noticed it when I walked away.
I wasn't worried about getting lost because I thought I could find my watch easily.
However, when I finally found my watch and tried to catch up with my friends:they had gone
far.I immediately realized that I was alone and lost.
注意:Para 1 : The sky started to become darker and i was very worried .
Para2 : Actually ,they were rescuers searching fro me .
相同类型 高考真题 (2016年10月浙江高考试题)
One weekend in July, Jane and her husband, Tom, had driven three hours to camp overnight by a lake in the forest. Unfortunately, on the way an unpleasant subject came up and they started to quarrel. By the time they reached the lake, Jane was so angry that she said to Tom, “I’m going to find a better spot for us to camp” and walked away.
With no path to follow, Jane just walked on for quite a long time. After she had climbed to a high place, she turned
around, hoping to see the lake. To her surprise, she saw nothing but forest and, far beyond, a snowcapped mountain top. She suddenly realized that she was lost.
“Tom!” she cried. “Help!”
No reply. If only she had not left her mobile phone in that bag with Tom. Jane kept moving, but the farther she walked, the more confused she became. As night was beginning to fall, Jane was so tired that she had to stop for the night. Lying awake in the dark, Jane wanted very much to be with Tom and her family. She wanted to hold him and tell him how much she loved him.
Jane rose at the break of day, hungry and thirsty. She could hear water trickling (滴落) somewhere at a distance. Quickly she followed the sound to a stream. To her great joy, she also saw some berry bushes. She drank and ate a few berries. Never in her life had she tasted anything better. Feeling stronger now, Jane began to walk along the stream and hope it would lead her to the lake.
As she picked her way carefully along the stream, Jane heard a helicopter. Is that for me Unfortunately, the trees made it impossible for people to see her from above. A few minutes later, another helicopter flew overhead. Jane took off her yellow blouse, thinking that she should go to an open area and flag them if they came back again.
Paragraph 1: But no more helicopters came and it was getting dark again.
Paragraph 2: It was daybreak when Jane woke up. _____________
