Teaching aims:
1. Knowledge aims:
①master new words and phrases(thousand, million, hundred, zero,foot, square, meter, an area of, over.)
②learn and master the rules of cardinal numbers
Rule1: 1-12：要特殊记。
Rule2: 13-19：13，15看仔细，其他十几teen来结。
Rule3: 20-90整十数：几十末尾都用ty，20，30是特例；40，50更厉害。
Rule4: “几十几”时，几十和个位之间要加“-”。
Rule5: 百位数时，百位和十位之间加“and”。
Rule6: 每三位进行划分，三位后thousand, 六位后million。
2. Ability aims: learn how to write them correctly and recite the rules and use them to talk about the numbers of people and things in English fluently.
3. Emotional aims: arouse their interest of learning English by a song.

Step1 Lead-in
1. Sing a song and count
Play a number song, count together quickly and then lead in the cardinal numbers.
T: What will we learn today So let’s enjoy a song and count together. After singing, you can know the topic of this class.

Show the chart and read together, ask Ss to conclude the rule
