资源简介 Unit 2 I think that mooncakes are delicious Section A (3a-3c)教学设计课标分析:本篇文章主题语境是人与社会,语篇类型是叙述类阅读,本单元话题是谈论中外的节日,了解中外的传统习俗,文化气息比较浓郁。我们学习英语不但要了解西方的文化背景,也要学会怎么样用英语把我们中国的传统传播出去,从而提高跨文化交际意识。教材分析:本课 Full Moon, Full feelings选自 Section A部分的 Reading (3a---3c),介绍中国的传统节日――中秋节,文章侧重介绍中秋节的由来,嫦娥奔月的民间故事。生词不多,有几个是学生接触过的,如 garden, whoever 等。课本中有 3a意在抓住文章大意的两个问答题, 3b 帮助学生理清故事发展的排序。在教材的处理上,把重点词汇结合到中秋的象征、活动等内容上学,3c的内容改换成思维导图结构,意在抓关键词,理清文章脉络,排序练习前再增加了个找主要人物和 Find out what they have done 的练习作铺垫。学情分析:初三的学生已经有一定的英语学习基础和词汇储备量,但是我们边远山区学生主要的英语学习方式还是依赖于课堂,英语能力比较薄弱。由于他们国际化的东西接触的很少,学好英语的愿望始终不够强烈。因而在教学过程中如何激发学生的兴趣,如何创设真实情境,让学生觉得真正有必要学会怎么样用英语去介绍我们中国的传统习俗和文化,并化难为易让学生尽快掌握目标语言复述故事至关重要。教学目标:1、To learn some key words and useful expressions :folk, goddess, steal, dessert, garden, tradition.2、Learn to retell the passage.3、Enjoy the time with your families.教学重点(1)掌握重点词汇的用法。(2)讲述中秋节由来的故事,激发学生对家乡、对祖国的热爱。教学难点(1)理清人物关系脉络,组织语言复述故事。(2)培养阅读兴趣。教学方法: Task-based teaching method, Communicative approach.教学过程:Step1:Warming up and revision1、Enjoy a song (《明月几时有》英文版).Then ask :What festival does this video talk about 2、Brainstorm(1) What can you think of when we mention the Mid-Autumn Festival (2) What do people usually do on Mid-Autumn Festival (3) Do you know any traditional folk stories about Mid-Autumn Festival Step2:While-reading1、Skim the passage and match the main idea.the story about the festival Para1the influence of the festival Para2the festival and mooncakes Para32、Read Para 1 and answer the following questions.(1)What does the mooncake look like (2)Why do people enjoy mooncakes on Mid-Autumn Festival (3)From the story ,What characters are they?3、Para2(1)Read Para2 and find out what they have done?A. became light and flew up to the moonB. tried to steal the magic medicineC. shot down the nine suns and saved the people on the earthD. planned to take the medicine with his wifeE. refused to give Pang Meng the medicine and drank it allF. thanked Hou Yi by giving him magic medicine(2)Read Para 2 carefully and answer the questions.Why is the medicine magical Did Chang'e take the medicine for living forever What did Hou Yi do after seeing his wife (3)fill in the blanks and retell para 2 according to the mind mapThere are many_______ folk stories about this festival. _______,most people think that the story of Chang’e is the most touching.
