教材分析 本课的教学内容是牛津英语八年级上册第五单元第四课时。本课时Part A1部分要求学生在听的过程中了解不同野生动物(老虎和狼)的外貌、习性、主要食物以及各自面临的危险;A2部分鼓励学生运用所听和所读的信息将一篇有关呼吁人们保护野生动物的信件补充完整。本节课主要通过听力训练来培养学生良好的听力习惯和提高学生获取信息的能力。
整体设计思路 1.在Lead-in这个环节,让学生通过游戏,复习已知的野生动物相关的知识,同时引出本课所需学习的另外两种野生动物,在复习旧知识的同时为新课做好准备。 2.在Presentation环节,通过听前、听中、和听后三个环节的设置,运用任务型教学,巧设听力任务,设置和构筑良好的语言情境,提高获取听力语篇信息的能力。 3.通过小组讨论如何保护野生动物,培养学生口头表达的能力。

Step 3 While-listening Part A1—About tigers. Play the tape for the students twice to fill in the blanks of A1 (tigers). Check the answers in groups Part A1—About wolves. Part A2 Fill in the blanks based on the information in A1. 1. Listen to the conversation and finish the fact sheet about tigers. 2. Listen to another conversation and finish the fact sheet about wolves. 3. Do a pair work. 4. Read the passage quickly and try to get the main idea, then fill in the blanks. Reduce the difficulty of listening by dividing A1 into segments. Help students have a better understanding of the text by doing pair work. Pave the way for A2.
