Chaka Salt Lake（茶卡盐湖）
Chaka Salt Lake (or Caka Salt Lake) is located in Ulan county of Qinghai Province. It is regarded as the eastern gateway to Qaidam Basin（柴达木盆地）, which has the largest salt mine in the world. Lying at a height of 3,059 meters, the lake is oval shape and covers an area of 105 square kilometers, ten times larger than the West Lake of Hangzhou. The lake is very shallow — at places, it is only ankle-deep — that allows visitors to walk over the lake. At times, when the sky is looking brilliant, the blue water of the lake reflects the sky as if a giant mirror is resting on the ground. This has earned Chaka Salt Lake the nickname of “Mirror of the Sky”.

Great Barrier Reef（大堡礁）
The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef（珊瑚礁） system with over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching
for over 2,300 kilometers over an area of about 344,400 square kilometers. The reef is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland, Australia. The Great Barrier Reef can be seen from space and is the world’s biggest single structure made by living organisms（生物）. It supports a wide diversity of life and was selected as a World Heritage Site in 1981. And it is known as one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Huangshan, one of China’s major tourist destinations, is located in Anhui province, east of China. It was called Yishan Mountain in the Qin Dynasty, and got its current name in 747 AD during the Tang Dynasty. As one of the most popular natural wonders in China, it has 77 peaks, rises above 1,800 meters, and covers 154 square kilometers. Huangshan Mountain is famous for both its sceneries and cultural significance, especially in Chinese paintings, and has played an important role in the history of art and literature in China since the Tang Dynasty.

The features of Huangshan Mountain
Huangshan is famous for its four wonders, which are spectacular rocks (怪石), pine trees (奇松), hot springs and views of clouds. Other attractive sceneries are lakes, waterfalls, flowers and animals. Forests cover 83.4 percent of the area, with some 1,452 species of native plants that fall into 203 families. The highest peak is called Lianhua Peak (Lotus Flower Peak), reaching up to 1,864 meters.
