【教学目标】
帮助学生理解并掌握一般过去时
学习并掌握情态动词can/could的不同用法
能正确运用基数词与序数词
【教学重点】
1、一般过去时的基本结构及句型转换：
基本结构：主语+was/were+其他；主语+实义动词（过去式）+其他；
否定句：主语+was/ were+ not+其他；主语+didn’t+动词原形+其他
一般疑问句：Was/Were+主语+其他 ；Did+主语+动词原形+其他
2、情态动词can/could的用法：
①都表示具备的能力，指现在、过去无论什么时候想做就能做到的能力。
Could表示过去的能力，Can表示现在或将来的能力。
②在否定句和疑问句中，都表示猜测语气。Can表示猜测的可能性要多些，
而could表示猜测的可能性要小、轻些。
③都可以表示建议和请求，can表示肯定，could的请求语气更委婉。
3、表建议和邀请的句型：
1）Would you like to do sth.
2) What/How about doing sth.
3) Why not do sth.=Why don’t you/we do sth.
【教学难点】
1、情态动词的用法：情态动词不能单独作谓语，后面必须跟动词原形一起构成谓语；情态动词没有人称和数量的变化；含有情态动词的肯定句变否定句：情态动词后加not; 含有情态动词的肯定句变一般疑问句：情态动词提前放句首
2、can/could的特别注意：当表示允许别人做某事时，用can而不用could.

【特别注意】动词过去式的变化规则
1．直接加ed ：work —— worked look——looked play——played,
2．以e 结尾的单词，直接加d ：live ——lived hope——hoped use ——used,
3．以辅音字母+y结尾的，变y 为i 加ed ：study —— studied carry ——carried worry——worried,
4．以元音字母+y结尾的，直接加ed ：enjoy ——enjoyed play ——played
5． 以重读闭音节结尾的，双写最后的辅音字母+ed：stop —— stopped plan ——planned
6. 不规则变化：am/is/are---was/were have/has---had do---did详见动词不规则变化表

考点2 情态动词can\could的用法
1.情态动词不能单独作谓语，后面必须跟动词原形一起构成谓语。

3.含有情态动词的肯定句变否定句：情态动词后加not;
含有情态动词的肯定句变一般疑问句：情态动词提前放句首
Can与Could
共同点：
1.都表示具备的能力，指现在、过去无论什么时候想做就能做到的能力。
Could表示过去的能力，Can表示现在或将来的能力。
2.在否定句和疑问句中，都表示猜测语气。Can表示猜测的可能性要多些，
而could表示猜测的可能性要小、轻些。
3.都可以表示建议和请求，
can表示肯定，could的请求语气更委婉。
【特别注意】当表示允许别人做某事时，用can而不用could.

考点3 基数词与序数词
基变序有规律，词尾+th；
一二三特殊记，八去t，九去e,，ve要用f替；
整十变y为i再加eth；
若要碰到几十几，前边基，后边序。
数词的运用：时间点、日期

考点4 表建议与邀请的句型
1）Would you like to do sth.

3) Why not do sth.=Why don’t you/we do sth.
例：Why not eat out with me =Why don’t us eat out
重点短语句型：
1. at the age of…= When sb. was/were… 在某人…岁时
at the age of eight= when I was eight
2. There is/was something wrong with… “….出了问题”
=Something is/was wrong with…
There is something wrong with my computer.
