新闻报道
【文体指导】
新闻报道是对最近发生的事情的报道，其目的是为人们提供最新信息。新闻报道的结构一般分为四个部分：标题、导语、主体、结语。
1．标题：标题是新闻的题目，是编辑对最有新闻价值的内容的浓缩、概括。为了撷取新闻要点、诠释新闻意义、吸引读者阅读，好的标题应该简洁明了。
2．导语：导语是消息开头的第一句话或第一段，它扼要地提示出新闻的核心内容。
3．主体：主体是新闻的主要部分，它用充足的事实表现主题，是对导语内容的进一步展开和阐述。
4．结束语：一般是最后一句话或者一段话，通常对全文内容作概括性的总结，有时作者根据报道在结束语中提出令人深思的问题。
要注意新闻报道的特点：
1．真实性：新闻是对事实的客观描述和写真。真实是新闻的生命，也是新闻的基本要义；
2．客观性：客观地叙述新闻事实是坚持新闻报道真实性的前提，所以不能随意发挥，也不宜过早下结论。
因此，在写作过程中不要夹杂任何个人的主观色彩，时态以一般过去时为主。另外，新闻要简练，多采用短句，复杂句尽量少用。
【常用句式】

2．Many countries around the world sent their congratulations.
3．There are different opinions among people as to...Some people suggest that...
4．...has been playing an important role in our daily life.It has brought us a lot of benefits but created some serious problems as well.

8．I believe we can certainly overcome the disaster with the public and the government working together.
【写作任务】
5月1日，高一(3)班的学生志愿者Li Yue和Zhang Hua去阳光敬老院(Sunshine Nursing Home)开展志愿者活动(送水果、打扫、聊天等)。假如你是校英语报的记者，请按下列要点用英语写一则100词左右的新闻报道。
内容包括：

【审题谋篇】
第一步　明确要求
要求写一篇新闻报道，基本事件内容已经给出，对于写作内容也有具体的要求，基本按照翻译的原则也能够顺利把文章的基本结构写出，但是应该特别注意新闻报道的基本格式和语言规范，写作中应从新闻报道的角度进行陈述，并且做出客观的评价。写作中主要人称应为第三人称，时态以一般过去时为主。
第二步　确定段落
Para.1：先概述新闻提要，再具体描写事件过程
Para.2：老人反应
Para.3：简短评论
第三步　词汇热身
1．从事一些义务性工作do some voluntary work
2．他们一到达upon their arrival
3．向老人们赠送鲜花和水果

第四步　句式升级

2．他们给老人送去了鲜花和水果。
(一般表达)They gave the elderly flowers and fruits.
(句式升级)They presented the elderly with flowers and fruits.
3．他们所做的这一切既给别人带去了欢乐也丰富了自己的生活。
(一般表达)All these things they did not only make others happy but also make their own life colorful.

【连句成篇】
Student Volunteers Brought Sunshine to the Elderly
On May Day，Li Yue and Zhang Hua，students from Class Three，Grade One，went to Sunshine Nursing Home and did some voluntary work.Upon their arrival，Li Yue and Zhang Hua were warmly welcomed，and respectfully，they presented the elderly with flowers and fruits.Then，they started working at once，cleaning the windows and sweeping the floor.Everything done，they sat in the yard chatting with the elderly people.
When it was time for the volunteers to leave，the elderly people thanked them for their kindness.They said it was such a beautiful day that they would remember it forever.
