教材分析Analysis of teaching materials Module 7的主要内容为通过对去美国旅行的准备,对去洛杉矶学习英语的活动来学习并列复合句,重点学习and, but, or的用法。从全书来看,本模块承接上一模块对简单句的学习和运用,内容有层次的展开,学生容易接受。
学情分析Analysis of students 七年级是中学生学习英语的基础阶段,大部分对英语学习充满兴趣,爱说爱表达。但同时也发现学生中已出现了两极分化,少数同学缺乏自信,不敢在课堂上讲英语,发音也不准确,因此这一阶段的重要任务在于激发并保持学生学习英语的兴趣,课堂上采用适合学生年龄特征的灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意,努力营造英语教学情境,注重学习兴趣的培养,鼓励他们大胆说,积极讲。
设计思路 Design ideas 本课为听说课,旨在考察学生从听力材料中获取大意的能力,信息辨识能力,同时为学生呈现新的语言知识和话题素材。在教学中以基础知识基本技能为侧重点,在反复练习、巩固基础知识基本技能的前提下提升学生综合语言能力。第一个环节通过观看英文录像和地图导入课题,自然且能引起学生的学习兴趣, 了解洛杉矶这个城市 第二个环节完成活动一听力,掌握where、what、how long、 how many的用法 第三个环节通过电脑小游戏来学习和检查课前预习的新单词,游戏生动直观形象,学生非常喜欢。 第四个环节听力练习和讲解重难点。先看动画,听录音回答问题。学生带着问题去听,更有针对性。再讲课文中重难点,进一步理解课文,掌握语法。 第五个环节个人大声朗读和小组分角色朗读,纠正学生发言,培养英语学习自信心,掌握对话的重点。 第六个环节完成书上活动4,进一步巩固课文和单词。 第七个环节口语练习,小组编写对话。鼓励学生运用本课学的语言知识编写对话并在全班展示,学生兴趣高涨。 第六个环节总结这一节重点,通过这一环节巩固学生在本节课当中学的词汇、语法和句型。复习总结本课所学知识,学生能够更加清楚的了解本课所学知识。最后一个环节家庭作业,谈论夏令营课程优点和缺点。

Moral aims: Be able to compare the differences between Chinese and western birthday cultures and cultivate and improve students’ awareness of intercultural communication. Learn to make friends, learn to cooperate with others and understand others.

Step 1 Lead-in Play a movie about LA Watch the movie and maps By watching the movie,motivate students to learn new lessons.
Step2. Listening Play the tape for the Ss to listen, let them to read the questions before listening, and then let them finish Task 1. 1. Read the questions. 2. Listen to the tape. 3. Finish Task 1. 4. Check the answers in class. To let the students to master using of where what how long how many

Play the conversation, and answer the 1Watch the movie of the conversation and finish the Task 1 is a little difficult for Ss, so let

Let the students to open their books to read the conversation. And then finish Task 3 and 4. Read the conversation individually. And then finish Task 3 and 4. Check the answers in class. Task 4 is the most difficult of the tasks. To get specific information from the conversation. Set the tasks from easy to difficult, and gradually improve the students' listening comprehension.
Step 4 Reading aloud Play the recording for Ss to listen and read. Correct Ss’ pronunciation and intonation while reading. 1.Ss listen to the conversation and read at the same time. 2.Ss read the conversation in pairs. 3.Ss act out the conversation in class. Encourage Ss to read the conversation aloud. Correct Ss’ pronunciation and intonation while reading.
Let the students do Tasks 5. Do Task 5.Check the answers in class. To check if the students have understood the conversation.
Step 5 Speaking Ask students to make conversation. 1.Work in pairs to ask and answer. 2.Work in groups to make up a conversation. 3.Present the conversation in class. Guide students to pay attention to the sentences of asking for information, understand and use the adverbs of frequency. Train students' logical thinking ability to solve problems.
Step 6 Summary Summarize the main language points with students. Review the main language points. Sum up the theme and the main language points.
Homework Learn the new words and expressions in this module. Talk about the advantages and disadvantages of summer courses . Students talk about their mothers’ birthday and are ready to celebrate the birthday to express
their love to their mothers. At the same time it is laying the groundwork for the reading of U2.

课后反思Reflection after class This lesson has greatly aroused the enthusiasm of student learning. The students were able to take an active part in the activities in class. The shortcoming of this lesson is that some students are not confident enough, and they can not take the initiative to speak. They should be given more encouragement.
