Teaching Difficult Points: Infinitives
Teaching Procedure:
Step1. lead—in
Greetings with each other. The teacher encourages students to become more and more confident..
Step2. Discussing
Talk about the following questions with students. :
1.How do you go to school every day
2.How do you go home
2.Do you like travel And where do you want to go
And then give a short video to the students to relax themselves.and remember some transportation at the same time.
Step3. Teaching some new words,then listen to the tape and follow it.
Step4.Talk about six pictures on transportations one by one.That is:
Walk to school ride a bike
go to school on foot go… by bike
take a bus take a train
go…by bus go…by train
take a ship take a plane
go…by ship go…by plane
Step5. Read 、Do and Listen
Make all the students read the text in groups and answer true or false on page83, and then check the answers..
Step6.Listen and match
Listen to the tape and finish Let′do it Part 2
Step7. Discussion
Work in groups. Survey your group members about their favourite
types of transportation. Then make up a dialogue.
For example:
A: What's your favourite transporation
B:My favourite transporation is ...
A:Where do you want to go on holidays
B:I like to go...
A: How do you go there
B:I go to...by .../ I take ...to...
Step8.Write down some language points on their note books and learn them by heart after class.
