1.Teaching Aims
1) 掌握现在进行时的含义。
掌握现在进行时的构成及动词现在分词的用法。
掌握现在现在进行时的各种句式（肯定句、否定句、特殊疑问句、一般疑问句及其简略回答）
现在进行时与一般现在时的区别。

3.Teaching Steps
Step1. Greetings
Welcome students and intrduce myself and new lesson.
Step2 .Leading in
According to four pictures,let students sense the present progressive tense.
What am I doing I’m drinking.
2) what is he doing He is reading a newspaper.
3）What is she doing She is making soup.
4）what are they doing They are playing basketball.
Step 3 . Presentation
Sense the Present Progressive Tense. Teacher tells the Ss what the Present Progressive is. Teacher explains how to use it ang its structure.
现在进行时（The Present Progressive Tense）
1）现在进行时表示现在（说话瞬间）正在进行或发生的动作，强调“此时此刻”。
2)现在进行时也可以表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。
3)构成：由助动词be(am/is/are)+V-ing构成
a).be有人称和数的变化，有三种形式：第一人称单数用am,第三人称单数用is,其他人称用are.
b). Tell Ss about the composition of the present participle verb,and give them some examples,then summary the rules for them.
规则：(1) 一般在动词词尾加上-ing :
e.g cook-cooking
(2) 以不发音字母e结尾的动词，先去掉e,再加-ing：e.g. make-making write-writing
以重读闭音节结尾的动词，如果末尾只有一个辅音字母，应双写该辅音字母，再加上-ing: e.g.stop-stopping
swim-swimming(4).以I’m watching TV.等句子为例，让学生归纳现在进行时的肯定句式，之后归纳其否定句式，一般疑问句式及其简略回答。
肯定式：主语+be(am/is/are)+V-ing+……
否定式：主语+be(am/is/are)+not+V-ing+……
一般疑问句:Be(Am/is/are)+主语+V-ing+……
肯定回答：Yes,主语+be(am/is/are).
否定回答：No,主语+be(am/is/are)+not.
特殊疑问句：What +be（am/is/are）+主语+V-ing？
.现在进行时的标志词.
总结归纳标志词now、right now、at present、look、listen等。
现在进行时与一般现在时的区别。
根据定义、结构、标志词、举例分析区别，对应做出比较。
e.g She is exercising now. They are exercising.
She ofen exercises. They exercise.
Step 4 practice
Ss do some class exercise.Then check the answers.（分类型巩固当堂所学。
请写出下列动词的ing形式。
e.g read-reading watch-watching
write-writing arrive-arriving
run -running swim-swimming
