过去分词作表语,多表示主语所处的状态或所具备的特征,多位于系动词后。
The door remained / was / seemed locked.
有些过去分词作表语时,已具备了形容词的性质。
例如:interested, amazed, delighted, disappointed等

过去分词与被动语态如何区分?
a. They were shocked about the news.
b. I was shocked by his words.
过去分词作表语时,强调主语所处的状态;而动词的被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者,强调动作。

ing:令人......的,修饰物;ed:感到......的,修饰人。

肯定意义,意为“非常”。
can’t/can never...too...再怎么……也不过分。
