Lead-in (4 minutes) Greet the Ss Show Ss a video and ask them what’s happening to the earth. Ask Ss what caused the water pollution and how to solve it. 1.Greet the teacher. 2.Watch the video and answer the question. Think about what caused the water pollution and how to solve it. 创设情景，让学生在观看视频和图片后思考问题，提升学生思考能力。
Presentation(30minutes) Present Ss some sentences and ask them to find out the grammar points in these sentences. After that work in groups and talk about one point. Group one 1.The river used to be clean. 2.The river didn’t use to be clean. 3.Did the river use to be clean 4.Yes,it did./ No, it didn’t. 1.肯定结构used to do sth 2.否定结构didn’t use to do sth /use not to do sth 3.一般疑问句Did ...use to do sth /Used... to do sth Yes,...did./No,...didn’t. Practice Group two Some laws are developed to stop the pollution. These trees were cut down by the workers last night. In the future , more and more work will be done by the robots. Find out the grammar points in the sentences the teacher gives. After that work in groups and talk about one point. After discussion,they need to share their results. 小组合作找出语法重点，然后每组选择一个语法点进行合作探究。 小组合作锻炼学生的自主探究能力以及小组协作能力。

Work on 4c. Make a list of things that people can do to help the environment and discuss your list with your partner. Eg： Turn off the lights when you leave a room. Turn off the shower while you are washing your hair. Recycle books and paper. 合作讨论解决环保问题的方法和策略，培养学生。 通过讨论环境保护巩固目标语言。
