We are adverbs of frequency (频度副词)
频度副词
定义：表示次数、频率的副词称为频度副词。这类词用来表示某一动作发生的频率，或某一状态出现的频率.
常用的频度副词有: always, usually，often, sometimes， seldom, hardly ever,never 等。
1.He hardly ever goes to the movies. 他几乎从不看电影。

(一)频度副词按频率发生的高低依次为:
always(100%)>usually(80%)>often(60%)>sometimes(40%)>

(二)频度副词在句中的位置：

(二)频度副词在句中的位置：
sometimes可放在句首、句中或句末。
e.g. 她有时看电视。
Sometimes she watches TV.
She sometimes watches TV.
She watches TV sometimes.
often可放在句中和句末(一般不放在句首).
e.g. 她经常看电视。
She often watches TV.
She watches TV very often.
(二)频度副词在句中的位置
总结：一般放在实义动词之前,be 动词、助动词或情态动词之后。
1.Lucy is sometimes very busy.露西有时很忙。
2.They hardly ever go shopping.他们几乎不去购物。
3.What do you usually do on Sundays 你星期天通常做什么
注意：表示具体的频率、次数时,一次用once,两次用 twice,三次及以上用“基数词 +times”。对频率、次数提问可用 how many times。
She watches TV four times a week.她一周看四次电视。
I exercise once a week.我每周锻炼一次。
