Dragon Boat Festival is a funny Chinese holiday. Usually, it's in May or June. Both children and adults like this holiday.
First, there are dragon boat races. Dragon boats are very long. They are painted in bright colours. In each boat, there are many people rowing. There's also somebody beating a drum. The winner of the races can get a lot of money.
During Dragon Boat Festival, people also eat a special kind of rice dumplings. To make rice dumplings, people always put some meat, vegetables and other things in it. The Lantern Festival (元宵节) is a popular festival in China. It is in February or March, fourteen days after the Spring Festival. We also call it yuanxiao. It means family reunion (团圆) and happiness.
