The Present Continuous Tense
定义
现在进行时是英语的一种时态，表示现在进行的动作或存在的状态。在英语时态中，“时“指动作发生的时间，”态“指动作的样子和状态。现在进行时表示动作发生的时间是“现在”，动作目前的状态是“正在进行中”。
基本用法
1. 表示说话时正在进行或发生的动作。
Look! They are playing football.
看！他们正在踢足球。
2. 表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。
I'm reading a novel these days.
这些天我在读一本小说。

陈述句-句子结构
现在进行时的构成是：
主语+be动词（am /is /are）+动词ing形式〔现在分词〕
be + V-ing (动词的现在分词）
实意动词、行为动词
英语中动词根据不同的分类可以有很多种划分方法,实意动词和非实意动词,及物动词和不及物动词.
一般实意动词（又称为行为动词）可以分为及物动词和不及物动词,可以单独作谓语.非实意动词包括各类助动词,比如：情态动词,系动词和do,did等等,不能独立构成谓语.
比如：hit是实意动词,因为“打”是作为一个真实动作而存在,must,can等不是实意动词,本身并没有真实的动作存在,要加上实意动词后才能构成谓语.
